Subcription service patment request
We are receiving invoice for magazine subscription that terminated several months ego. We have not received magazines for long time. I have replayed by mail to PO Box 6093 Harlan, Iowa ( the address on the invoice) to the Hearst Corp subscription service advising that no further magazines are desired, and that any subscription for future magazines must be canceled. There is no phone or address on the collection letter to contact this company and stop this type of harassment letters to collect $19.97 for services that we don't want.

Magazine renewal invoice collections
Just like many others I have read, my complaint is of reciept of an "invoice" for a magazine, Good Housekeeping, which I received as a gift subscription 2 years ago and has subsequently expired. All out of the blue, I get a red invoice from "The Hearst Corporation" and it's "VP of Collections G.L. Valk" for the amount of $7.97 . I know I do not owe Good Housekeeping Magazine a dime, and I find this ridiculous that this scam has continued despite so many other people complaining of similar situations.

Received an "in arrears" billing, demanding immediate payment for an "auto renewal", which I did not sign up for. Besides that, I am paid through March of 2010. I am ANGRY!!

Scam and cheating
I have received a 'third notice of payment past due' from the Hearst Corporation for Cosmopolitan Magazine. They claim that in October 2008 I requested my subscription be renewed and be billed at a later date.
I never requested renewal of the magazine, in fact, my subscription doesn't even expire until January 2010. Also I have always paid for my subscriptions at the time I requested service. I have never requested to be billed later.
The notice sent to me by Hearst Corporation's invoicing bureau states that this is their third notice of payment past due. It also threatens to send my account to collections and report me to the crediting agencies.
I would have liked to be able to contact the Hearst Corporation to resolve the matter. However, the notice doesn't provide a phone number or even a website. It merely provides an address where I should send them my money.
