When does it become okay for a Director and Owner of a Leadership Center embarrass and humiliate a 12 year old girl in front of her friends, peers, and his staff members. Without any consideration he yelled across the warehouse sized room, to a member of his staff, to call her me because she will no longer be allowed to attending the center. (I received the nasty call, on my celphone, from the Owner ). My daughter and the other children were shocked he did this. She felt like crying then but did not. Only when I picked her up did she began to cry. When I confronted them the Owner said that my daughter was lying and it was an accusation (a charge or claim that someone has done something illegal or wrong). I told him it was a fact (something that actually exists; reality; truth). I have spoken to a couple of parents and their children. Those children told me the same exact story, which means this isn't an accusation but fact. My hopes is for no other child to go through what my daughter has gone through; no matter. A responsible person/adult would have talked to the parent, in private, and inform them of the situation when they showed up to pick up their child/children.
