About two months ago, I received a book in the mail with a request for payment. The book was, The Old Farmers Almanac, Hardcover Cllector's Edition. I never orderd any such book; I wrote return to sender, and threw it back in my mail box. To my surprise, I received another invoice for the book, about three weeks after that.
( I was pretty irritated at this point.) I wrote on the invoice, "I never orderd you product, I sent it back a month ago, leave me alone or I'll report you!" (This should be so simple?...)
Well, I just received another bill, #3. Now, they are going to send me to a collection company; Hmmmm? I called The Better Buisness Bureau, in Calorado.(This is the state that sent the book.) They directed me to their on-line complaint center, where I can't figure out how to file a complaint, without being charged for it.
The part that really makes me angry; On this invoice there is only a place for a credit card payment. Then they want me to mail my card information to, P.O. Box 59605 Boulder, Co. 80322. Geeez!
F.Y.I. any one who cares. I'm a nursing student. What in the world am I going to use a farming almanac for?
