Charge for order but not received
In November I ordered living room leather sectional shipping from Italy, The Place sales agent confirmed it the set is custom ordered and will not be delivered until April. Low and behold it shows up in early January and they tried to force me to take delivery when I made plans for my old furniture to be donated in April so I could not accept the furniture at the time they tried to impose delivery... I had to call multiple times and tell them they contracted with me for April delivery per their statements when I purchased and I would not accept delivery until that time as my plans were based on the original purchase as they committed to. Further I special ordered some pillows that were billed to my credit card and paid by my credit card in Early December and were suppose to be delivered only 10-14 days later and here its January 29 and still no pillows... I have called the agent multiple times and first she apologized and would look into it... 1 week later still nothing I had to call back again and she blamed someone for trying to sabotage her and actually had me feel sorry for her for a day or two... that was 3 weeks ago and I still have no pillows!!! The have no follow-up to customers that already purchased and paid... They will say whatever and do whatever to get your money and then after they do... you will be at the bottom of the list and be constantly lied to to make sure you don't ask for a refund... DO NOT BE FOOLED! Spend your money with another furniture company many others sell similar or the same items and at similar or lesser price points.
