I worked as a territory rep for Chad Ludbrook for 4 months. I was guaranteed a monthly salary, benefits, car allowance, the works. From the start it sounded too good to be true. Turns out it was!! We were hired as an independent contractor, however we were treated like employees. We had rules to follow and throughout the months, the rules seemed to "change" daily. He used ADP to pay us as well, which shows that we are his employees. Job description and pay structure all in writing also.

Was supposed to get paid each month for gathering a database of companies that had a postage meter. Each rep had to enter their data into an excel spreadsheet until their CRM was up and running, which didn't happen until a month later. I was paid only 2 months out of the 4 I worked there and both times were 50% less than what my salary was supposed to be.
My last month (June) I was not paid. The owner of the company, said he wasn't paying me because I never worked. I worked in a completely different territory that month and visited just about every business I could over 3 1/2 weeks. At the end of that month I had to enter all my data into the CRM. I explained that I would be sending it over in an excel spreadsheet instead and he agreed that was okay. 2 days go by, his phone number goes out of order, the crm locked us out and customers had tried to call to order but could not. Was not able to reach him until the afternoon. He claimed that because the system had locked him out and his email, he never got my list and couldnt' pay me. I said thats my monthly salary, how am I supposed to pay bills, etc and his response was that it wasn't his problem. A few hours later he called a few businesses who said that they never spoke to me or heard of me, which is ironic because I had just seen them 2 days prior and they are associates of my father's who also runs a business.

This man and this company is complete fraud. I have so many documents proving that I worked including business cards and even businesses to back me up. I have already made contact with the EEOC because on several occasions Mr.Ludbrook has called Americans "stupid" and "lazy" and because I was the only woman in sales that only a man should do this job and that as a woman I'm not capable of doing this but willing to give me a try. I also contacted the Dept of Labor because even though we were independent contractors, we are technically employees on paper. I am owed not only my car allowance $400 for 2 months, but also $800 for the month of June.

Mr.Ludbrook has worked for Pitney Bowes for many years and claimed to have taken customers from them and selling their ink as well. He sells Neopost/Hassler and FrancoTyp-Postalia.

Anyone that is solicated by him to work for the company, run. I'm not sure about the ink either because I ran into a couple businesses who said they bought from him and the ink ran out rather quick...too quick to be exact.

They go by ASAP Meter Ink and The Postgage Meter Guys. This company might sound good on paper and give customers inexpensive ink, but how they treat their sales people is uncalled for and unprofessional. I have 5 other reps ready to file a class action suit with me since they went thru this before and still trying to get what is owed to them!!!
