Unfortunately, I did not research this company BEFORE opening my wallet! Doing business with The Right One has been a very expensive lesson for me as I realize after almost a year, I am one of MANY people suckered into believing the sales pitch delivered to me when I visited their office. It is only after reading all the many many numerous comments on this company that I realize I am not alone. Sadly, I have to agree that The Right One is a complete RIP OFF!

Like the others on this site and on the Consumer Reports website, I too was put through an extensive interview where I had to answer many written questions that were to formulate the criteria for my tastes in a quality match. I too was promised quality matches by the agent, only to meet guys who do not meet the criteria I requested at all. Example, I requested to meet men 5' 11" and over and the first guy was much shorter than I am!! (Perhaps their measuring criteria is different than standard measuring and by their measuring standards, they mistook 5 foot 4 inches, paunchy, and disheveled as 6 feet, average to athletically built, and well groomed???)

The 2nd guy I met admitted to being a part of this service for almost 3 years and he didn't even know I was referred to him, because he hadn't had any communication with them for almost a year! We did meet for coffee, but all he spoke about was "The Right One being all wrong." He told me "you better watch them carefully." I just did not understand at the time what he meant. I know now!

The 3rd guy told me he was not going to join the service at all, but he did because the sales agent cried and told him, she was going to lose her job if she did not sign someone up! His kindness cost him much more than my stupidity. He paid over a thousand more than I did and yet, the 2 of us had nothing except this service ripping us off in common. We never even met in person, yet he (along with these other 2 guys) was considered as part of my 10 referrals.

It has been 6 months or more since my last referral. Nope - not a letter or referral. Initially, they claimed to have this database where men met the exact criteria I was seeking, so why it is that I have not had one match is beyond my comprehension.

I know that this situation is far more pathetic than funny, but if anyone out there is considering doing business with this company, please save yourself hundreds and/or thousands of dollars because all this company will do successfully is debit your bank account on time each month while it avoids your phone calls!

If it is too late and you - like the rest of us - have already been duped into paying, then get your money's worth and let others know the type of company The Right One really is! Write a review daily, weekly, or even monthly. If nothing else, we who have paid for this so-called service can get financial gratification out of knowing we are saving many others from the same ripped-off - robbed - cheated - disheartened - duped - hoodwinked - bamboozled feeling that the rest of us are experiencing! We all owe it to ourselves to let others know that The Right One is The Wrong One to do business with!!!

Word of mouth is a powerful tool! Let's utilize it!
