"The Storage Center "located on Red Bud Lane in Round Rock Texas where I rented a unit, paid in full, and have my personal property stored, is being denied entry by the store manager unless I pay $150 for allegedly leaving trash in front of the unit, which I deny to the fullest. I feel like I am being extorted. The corporation, "Brookwood Properties" located in Baton Rouge LA also has refused to release my property unless I paid $75 because the manager of the unit has a picture of trash in front of my unit. My opinion is this is a frivolous scam upon the consumer. I think the manager of the property tried to extort money from me. I was nice and gave him some things when I moved into the storage unit and he took my kindness as a weekness and tried to take advantage of me. The facility is owned by an attorney out of Baton Rouge La so I also feel intimidated. I am locked out of my storage even though my rent is fully paid. He threatened to auction off my belongings unless I paid him $150 in cash. If there is another case like this out there with The Storage Center, please post it.
