This is not the used tire place on Rocks Springs Road, but instead the one not far from the library in North Orange County...I drove by that place of business on Sun. and saw 3 men nicely dressed enjoying lunch on the property...I asked if they worked there and they said yes, but the place was closed on Sun. so I assumed they were just hanging out...they told me when the place was open and gave me some reasonable prices..I returned the following Mon. and was met with a rather unpleasant young Man..we pulled in and parked our car, told him what we needed..he began changing out our bad tires for two used tires. I asked about the total cost, what I wanted was three new to me used tires and a 13" rim to replace the spare..he told me it would be $25 (not the $10 to $15 price I was quoted the day before) a tire plus $10 for the rim, I told him what had happened the day before and he said "you must have talked to some bums" he then disappeared into the garage, suddenly his workers disappeared, some went into the office others ducked into the garage..his unpleasantness got worse when I told him I only had $50 so I needed 2 used tires and a rim for the spare...he sold me two tires for $20 (I was told $10 to $15 a tire) a piece and a rim for $10 (I was told maybe $5)..he took my last $50 which included our food money for the day because we counted on having some left over to eat on..he was furious he snatched my money from my hand and we left..I was told it would cost me about $30 maybe $40, what he wanted me to pay was $85, $75 for the used tires and $10 for the rim..I told him I would have to get the spare replaced at a later date, which I will just not there...
