I bought a laptop battery for my Dell Inspiron E1505 from this eBay seller in March 2010. It came with a 3-year warranty. By May 2011, the battery was completely dead. When I contacted thebatteryconnection to get a replacement, I received the following response:
"The battery we sold you is not defective, and the proof is that you have been using it all along. At the same time, please understand that the battery is fuel, and once the fuel runs out, it of course will no longer power your laptop. Our warranty does not cover wear and tear, it only covers physical defects such as the battery cracking, or the casing opening up and the such. I do realize that you are now out of a battery and as a courtesy to you, I can offer you a 20% rebate on a new unit."
A rechargeable battery isn't supposed to run out of "fuel". If they're going to warranty a battery for 3 years, it should work for 3 years. Search for thebatteryconnection on Google. This seller has done bad business with many buyers.
