I called and placed an order with Alvena for 1963 custom truck seats that were to bolt in to the stock seat bracket holes. When I received them they were not even close. I called back and spoke to Alvena who told me they if they were wrong I needed to call the manufacturer. I said I didn't order them from the manufacturer I ordered them from you and if any calls need to be made I believe that is your job. She said well I am busy and I will call but I am not sure when. WOW... She gave the the number of the manufacturer, which is Eurotech, 562-806-2341 and I was to talk to Rick. I called and Rick said we don't make seat brackets for 1963 they start at 1967. So I called Alvena back and asked her to pull my order up and tell me what it says, she said it is for seats and brackets for a 1963 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. I said, werll I just got off the phone with Rick and he said that the seats and brackets start at 1967. She got very upset and said I have been doing this for 15 years and I know what I am taking about and I will call Rick right now. I did not here back for the next 2 days so I called again. Alvena answered and told me I need to call back later and speak with her boss named Damian. I called back later when he was to be there and he answered the phone. I explained what was going on and he said I am not her boss you need to talk to Kristin. I said is she in, he said hold on and she came to the phone. I explained to her what was going on and she said if you take all the measurements and e-mail of fax the the diagram I will see what I can do. The next day I e-mailed her the document with all measurements. 4 weeks later and 2 e-mails to Kristin and I still have not heard a word. I called and Damian answered. He said he was there alone but would try to find something out and tell Kristin to call me. 2 weeks later I called Eurotech and talked to Rick. He said the diagram was on his desk and he just got the ok from the hot rod mall to build them, he wasn't going to build them until they agreed to pay for them. So over 2 months later I get the brackets, finally. I called the hot rod mall and told them I got the brackets but it had been over 2 months, they were more than rude and told me I was lucky to get them, I said you seem to be forgetting that this would not have happened if you would not have taken and order fro a product you do not have. Stay away from these guys...
