My daughter recently had driving lessons with the above company. She booked 5 in advance and paid for them. She was told that she would have to pay for cancellations unless the instructor managed to fill the slot to which we agreed. My daughter had to cancel on two occasions due to ill health but the instructor did not ask for a cancellation fee at subsequent lessons so we presumed that she had filled the slot. Lessons initially were sparodic. She communicated with my daughter via text and it became apparent after a while that she was not receiving the messages. When I phoned said she had a fault on her mobile. On one occasion she failed to pick my daughter up from her school and she was stranded several miles from home. She rearranged her lesson for later the same day but failed to show for that also!
My daughter decided not to commit to further lessons due to the unprofessional conduct of the instructor. The instructor then text on two occasions asking for the money for the cancelled lessons which we had presumed she had filled.
I phoned her and she was agressive and would not allow me to speak. I told her not to text or phone my daughter again and put the phone down.
She then left a message on my answer phone demanding the money, saying that she had done nothing wrong and it was not fair (guilty) threatened to slander my daughter to other instructors in the area, said she would tell my ex-husband who lives down the road from her (we actually get on very well and he is supportive of the situation), and threatened to take her to the small claims court.
I am sickened that I trusted this person with my 17 year old daughter.
