HORRIBLE SERVICE
I received a phone call from Thrifty stating that i was pre approved for an auto loan, knowing that I don't have the greatest credit I wanted to make sure that they had what I already knew I would be approved for. They said everything I wanted to hear over the phone and acted as if they had my best interest at heart, so I made that very long trip to Clearwater, and it ended up in such a disaster. Thrifty car sales insulted my intellegence to the fullest! Not only did they not go with a good lending bank, they purposly tried to get me to finance with them at a horribly ridiculous APR, and even more ridiculous down payment! Then, to top it all off they sat me in one of their cubicles and talked to me like I was just a complete idiot. I will never return there, never rent a car from them, and EVERYONE I know, will know never to go to them!

No complaint here!! With our bad credit we didn"t think it would be possible to get a second car. Thrifty worked with us and we were able to get a very nice used car with no hassles!! Thanks Guys!

Recommendation
I would like to reccomend Thrifty Car sales to anyone who has less than perfect credit. I bought a car there recently and they made buying a car easy, and financing it even easier. The people who work there are proffessional in dealing with buyers. There is no pressure to buy. Everyone was courtious. Overall I say to anyone looking to buy a car go to Thrifty and enjoy the car buying experience.

Not a complaint
MY WIFE AND I WENT IN HOPING TO GET A GREAT TRADE-IN FOR HER 05' SEBRING AND DROVE OUT WITH A 350Z CONVERTIBLE AND A F-150 LARIAT
I WAS AMAZED THAT THEY GOT THE DEAL DONE AT A PAYMENT PLAN WE COULD LIVE WITH.

Used Car Sales
The Thrifty car sales team worked hard to get me a loan. With my bad credit I had almost given up hope of getting a car loan. I drove away in a late model car in great shape!

Deceptive Sales Practices
My wife Donna and I saved our hard earned money for 6 months to get Donna a new Audi A4 (Well, a used A4…as we knew that couldn’t afford the payments on a new one). After searching for 3 months; we found the prefect car at Thrifty Car Sales. They approved our financing; but could not deliver the car as it was being serviced in their in-house service department. They told they would have it ready the next day; and we both were very excited. After a week (9/7/10 financing approval and down payment of $1500 – 9/14/2010 Delivery) when they pulled the car around; the check engine light was on. When we questioned them about it…they stated: “There’s no problem there….it’s on because of the work that was just done on the car….the warning light will go off in 15 ignition cycles…the computer will reset itself”. And if it does not go off in 2 weeks bring the car back. The warning light did not go off. The 1st return, they hooked a computer up under the steering wheel and diagnosed the car….telling us they are ordering the needed part (A transmission control module (TCM)), 3 weeks of excuses later… the part was still not in, another week later AJ service manager, and Brian a tech conveniently did not remember what the car needed and told us we needed to bring the car back in for diagnostics again. This time we were told they need to research to error codes. After 3 total months of this… they now paid for our trip to the Audi dealership ($126) to professionally diagnose and fix the problem. When the estimate came in at $2000-$3000 (as this is a severe problem), they are now refusing to do anything at all. We drove this car off the lot with a promise from them and they are now turning their back on us, and seemingly smiling.
I think a very important fact here: is that Brian the service advisor at the Audi dealership (A great guy) showed me an estimate prepared 12/2009 a year ago; with the exact same issues listed as Audi diagnosed today. This cars problem has been there before we ever dreamed about an Audi. Thrifty is also turning their back on their 30 day warrantee, stating if it were only a couple hundred dollars for the repair they would step up, but not with such a costly one.
(We were told the decision... "Sorry, you're on your own" was made collectively by: Mr. Michael Kastrenakes and Mr. Dan Rasoi)

Good Experience
I got a car from Thrifty Car Sales. My husband and I purchased a car from here in July. We had a good experience. They were honest with the car payment and weren't giving us the run around. I wish it wouldnt have taken as long as it did but I am happy that my husband and I finally got a car that we liked and was in good shape.

Amazing service great deals
I had a great experince with this company. I purchased a vechile from Bo and Dan...they were super helpful and pleasant. I was able to be approved after being turned down by large car companys because of my credit. I was able to get my payments low and a car that will carry me to and from work. I even got a carfax and to top it off they filled up my tank with gas to get me going! Great job guys.
