TIBCS is supposed to be a non-profit cat society furthering information on the Bengal Cat. Instead, they have harbored their Ethics Chair, Annette Lerche Trolle, Trollspotting Bengals, in Denmark, who was allegedly convicted of animal abuse. In the rental property that Annette Lerche Trolle trashed, it was reported in the media that 94 cats were seized and 42 of those cats were Bengals that were so severely ill they had to be euthanized. TIBCS' Executive Board members posted "sympathy" for Annette Lerche Trolle to public group lists, but no sympathy for the abused cats. Allegedly this is the 3rd property that Annette Lerche Trolle has trashed.
It was only after a brave Bengal breeder posted to her Web site the truth about Annette Lerche Trolle that she was finally permanently banned from TIBCS. And what did TIBCS do after banning Annette Lerche Trolle? They banned this good and ethical breeder for posting the information about Annette Lerche Trolle and the horrible conditions of her cattery. The attached pictures show the awful dirty situation at Trollspotting Bengals: feces, urine, flies, sick cats.
Besides TIBCS banning the breeder who posted the news and pictures of Annette Lerche Trolle's filthy disease-ridden cattery, there are other good breeders on TIBCS' Disciplinary page who do not deserve suspension or being banned. TIBCS is run by Bengal breeders who seem to have an axe to grind againt successful breeders and rather than promoting the Bengal breed as a non-profit club should, they encourage "ethics complaints" against these good and ethical breeders so they can try and defame them on their "disciplinary" page.
If you are a Bengal breeder or a Bengal pet owner, do not become a TIBCS member. This club has broken many hearts and hurt many good and caring breeders. For their cruel deeds, karma will not be denied and it will come back onto them in one form or another.
