Good People
I know most companies usually only get bad reports, but I wanted to give a Good Report for Tiburon. I know I owe some debts out there and the creditors have been pretty abrupt with me. Also other collection agencies have been calling me and Tiburon was by far the nicest to deal with, they were very patient to work with me. The phone call was very pleasant and I finally felt like I got somewhere with my debt. Tiburon-thanks for truely listening and working with me.

HARASSMENT/RUDENESS
Several times this company has called my cell phone. Each time I've tried to wait on the line for the 'voice' recording to finally go to a 'real' person to explain I AM NOT THE PERSON THEY'RE TRYING TO REACH and they are using my minutes. This error needed to be corrected.
To get right to the point, I couldn't get a word in to ask the name of the company. "Darwin (Lang)" kept talking so rudely over me saying "Is this Ms. xyz", I just need to know that?", when I continually refused to answer until he gave me the name of the company he hung up.
I called back and then spoke to Holly Hudson, who again was so rude, I was astonished. I just wanted to be removed...She kept asking if I was Ms. xyz and she too wouldn't let me talk; hangin up on me 3 times. Finally I yelled into the phone that I needed to be removed and I wanted the name of the company. These people are so nasty and ignorant, it no wonder where they work. After I told her to please remove me she hung up (again). I called back to speak to the manager and she kept saying I already removed you. Finally after about 5 called and a screaming match (and threats to report them to the BBB, which I still will do), I got the name of a manager "Melissa Gongales" and their full name and address.
It's very sad that they immediately go into 'nasty' mode as soon as the someone is on the other end. I'm not sure why they were contacting this person, but I wasn't her. I can't get over that they are allowed to practice these tactics not only to people who owe money but to someone other they the debtor. OMG...
Looking at all these posts, apparently they speak to everyone (mistaken or not) in this manner and are still conduting business in an unprofessional and rude manner that crosses the lines. These practices have been banded and laws have gone into effect to provent this and this company and should be sued for the line they cross.
I will be reporting them to the BBB and the Crediting Agencies. I hope everyone else does.

Bad service
I received a collection notice on a shipment from the Acaiberrybreeze company. This shipment was over 12 months ago (3/12/09) and was paid for on my credit card before I even received it. Upon seeing the charges from the company on my credit card statement I called Acaiberrybreeze to cancel any further shipments. I received nothing else from them and have not heard from them since, yet I have received a collection notice from Tiburon Financial dated April 29, 2010 and giving me 30 days to respond. I did not receive the letter until May 10, 2010. I think this is a bogus collection effort. I do not know how they got my name and record unless they stole it somehow from the Acaiberrybreeze company who has my credit card on record. I think this must be a scam. Do not know who else to report this to since they have multiple state addresses on the billing notice.

They Really Helped Me
I had received calls from many of my creditors and collection agencies. The staff at Tiburon waqs helpful in instructing me on how to formulate a solution and begin clearing my debt. What seemed to be an overwhelming situation became manageable. I am thankful there are companies like them out there.

rude collector
1-04-09, I got a call from Cox who works at this Tiburon collection agency for Chrysler financial. He was disrespectful, unprofessional, nasty tone, and vulgar in talk. He stated that I knew about my car (which was repo back in September after I lost my job). I try to explain that this was my 1st time even hearing about this car after repo. He vulgar and disrespectfully insisted I knew and don't act like I don't know about the money owed on the car. I told him that I didn't and don't call my house with the attitude on a car I haven't sen or have. I disconnected from him.
I then tracked down Chrysler, Liz, who got smart as well but transferred me to Tiburon. I got Nick who then gave a supervisor who turned out to be Cox. I insisted to him to talk to someone else of supervision but he wanted to say he was the only supervisor until he put me on hold. I got to talk to a Jane, who wasn't any help to correct Cox on his behavior. I explained to her about loosing my job, hearing about this car, and Cox calling my home being rude. I politely stated to her "I'm not getting into an argument with, you have a nice day." I disconnected the call.
I do believe this company is not professional, un ethical, diversity problematic, and needs more communicational training.
I DO NOT WANT NO ONE FROM THIS COMPANY CONTACTING ME WHAT SO EVER. Chrysler can't get blood from a turnip, I'm the turnip. I have no job, no income what so ever.
