I ordered a business internet access package from Time Warner Cable on July 17 2010
I received a confirmation of my order for the amount of $77.95/month for a 1 year plan
It was stated in the order confirmation that they would contact me within 24 hours to proceed with the installation.
Instead someone from Time Warner, contacted me after 3 days and gave me a price for a 3 year plan that was more expensive than that of my order confirmation.
I was surprised so I went back to the site to check the prices again. The price for just the specific plan I was ordering, had gone $20 higher!
I complained to the sales person saying that this is unfair, cause I already got an order confirmation with a different price, plus it seems like they were waiting 3 days
for the price change to take place before they contacted me. The sales person wouldn't care any less...
This is mischievous, unfair and unlawful business practice on their part. And of course they have the monopoly as the only Cable Internet provider in the area so why would they listen to my complaints?
