Payment Issue
Being an actual human, I made a mistake and electronically paid Time Warner funds that were intended for another creditor. For the past 28 days, I've been misinformed, actually lied to, and ignored. They received this payment on June 1st. Its now June 24th and, while they promised me that they'd overnight my check on June 15th, I still don't have it. Over and above the issues we've had with the services, being treated like a criminal for making a mistake is simply not ok. I'll no longer be "bundling" services, in the hopes that having 3 companies taking care of my phone/internet/TV service, will at least give me a 1 in 3 chance of decent customer service. I would advise anyone considering Time Warner to reconsider.

Customer Service Lied
I had an install for Internet access scheduled for yesterday morning scheduled from 8-10, and I was home at that time. I had taken off a half day from work to be there. At a little after 10 I heard the voicemail on my cell that the tech had rung my doorbell at 9:26 and no one answered. That was a lie - I have 2 dogs and if someone had rung the bell I would have heard it. I called customer service and they said they would send the tech back out, but it could take until 9 PM. I agreed and called in to take off the rest of the day from work. Around 5:30 I called customer service again and they said the tech was going to call me soon and was scheduled to come. No one ever called or came. I called customer service today and they said someone was supposed to have come and they had no explanation as to why no on ever came. They guessed the tech didn't have time. All they were willing to do about this was to reschedule me for a Saturday, which they said they don't usually do. That is not true either, I've had Saturday installs before. This company is not credible, and I would drop them but they have a monopoly on Internet access in Ithaca.

termination fee
I am moving to an area where Time Warner does not service. I was told I have to pay a termination fee eventhough Time Warner is not available where I will be moving to. Are you kidding me? Didn't Time warner see what happened when Sprint treated their customers badly. They will never be an option for me in the future. Thanks Time Warner for all the great customer service!

Fraudulent Charges for calls to Honduras
I received a bill including charges for 3 international calls to Honduras. Two were made in the night while I was asleep and a third was made while I was at work. Time Warner insists the calls were made from my phone connected to my cable modem and will not reverse the charges. Also, turning the phone off will break the bundle deal and cause my internet/cable tv price to increase. NO MORE TIME WARNER!!! And I have been a customer of theirs since 1999.

digital cable box
Time warner is trying to force you to pay more per month for a digital box because some channels have gone digital. Why should we pay for a box when Time warner overcharges us now! this is a racket, we are being raped by Time Warner.

Internet not what is advertised
I ordered Time Warner Cable for two reasons Time Warner claimed to have the fastest speeds in this area. When I finally moved here the apartment complex came with Time Warner Cable pre wired with free HBO and Showtime. It took Time Warner two weeks to turn on the HBO and Showtime. Customer service was courteous each time I called. The first time the customer service agent said that cable was an issue the apartment complex had to deal with. The second time the customer service agent said it was a local agent’s job and the third time I called the customer service agent took care of the issue. Internet speeds are junk. I pay more for 1Mbs up and 15 down, the fastest speeds for residential use, with speed boost. My actual speeds are, .488Mbs up and 18Mbs down (according to speedtest.net). Therefore, I am getting speeds that are offered for half the cost. My phone line rings off the hook with ADT and other security companies offering me their services. This started 24 hours after Time Warner installed my phone lines. These people know all the information I gave to Time Warner when signing up even though I have an unlisted phone number and I have recently joined the national do not call list. All-in-all Time Warner are crooks. They have the capability to run much faster lines but have it dialed way down for some unknown reason. Oh, and as for the free cable I get more pixel scatters and snowy screens than any other service I have ever had from any other state and I have their box!

poor inconsiderate customer service
Our office decided to get internet and phone service from time warner. Since the beginning the lines weren't correctly installed. The phone calls with the patients were often getting cut off. We made many phone calls and conversations with time warner to come and fix the problem. They didn't care enough to send some contractors to come and fix the issue. They would say"well the phone calls aren't getting cut as we speak". Like they didn't believe the issue was true or as severe. As we we were trying and trying for them to send help, The representitive's would raise there voices and treat us as we were ignorant people. One person specially there named Shannon. As we would speak to different represenitve's, we would ask to be forwarded to a supervisor and they would refuse to do so. We felt trapped and punished for something we didn't intend to get into. All this in only 3 weeks of service with them. And it was the worst experience of our lives of customer service. With all this situation and poor inconsiderate customer service we decided to cancel. Before we did that we spoke to one of the supervisors and he said it would be ok because its in the grace period of trial. Now they are sending a bill with services that we are not even recieving. And they are saying we must pay 6, 400 to end service, For early termination.. Please help our office with this horror. We will gladly pay for the services that were rendered . But we should not be punished for something we never recieved.

unauthorized charges
Went in on a promotion. That expired after a year. Then they put me on another promotion. That expired after a year. My rate went up almost double and they didn't tell me. I was on auto pay and saw my bank account showing a pending withdrawl of over $40 and called to cancel my internet. They then put me on another promotion and worked it all out so I wouldn't get double charged from auto pay. No one told me at that time it was a prorated charge from the increase to the new promo charge. Talked to a few bozos, John and Jeffrey I could barely understand their English, and they promised me no charges and my pending charge will fall off. Today I was charged that residual and the supervisor Chris was patronizing and wouldn't let me vent my frustrations and was quite unsympathetic. An investigation will be made. Right. I just got ripped off.

Incorrect Charges
Time Warner Cable has added a channel to my service without my authorization. It is an International Channel and costs and additional $14.95 per month. I spoke to a manager and they will not credit my bill. They claim that I ordered the channel. However, I NEVER ordered the channel. This channel costs $14.95 per month and I am the only person that lives at my residence and they should require my request first. They claim that they "have a note" in their computer that I requested to pay for this channel. However, I did not ever.

Phone service
I have a "no frills" account withTime Warner-Phone service for my landline. After the year's contract was up, we kept the service, still with no frills. no long distance/calling id/message service/etc. Just plain phone service. When we got our bill, It was Waay too much for such a simple service. Our own little investigation showed us that we were being charged, long distance charges for local calls. It was a trial and error thing, finding this out, and even harder to get an itemized list of all the calls from them, (time warner) And there it was. Charges for the local calls.
But why??? we get told..."we're working on it" meanwhile the bills keep coming. Any Ideas? To discontinue the service without paying the bill would be a black mark for our credit.
