Failure to honor contract terms
Timeshares Around the World is a fradulent company. I had a written agreement with them that they would attempt to sell my timeshare. If they failed to do so in 120 days they promised to refund my payment of $600 in the form of two $300 gas cards. Since they failed to find a buyer I asked them for my gas cards. Instead they sent me an application form to apply to another company for the gas cards. This would have involved paying another application fee and the amout of the gas cards was substantially less then $600. This company is nothing more than dishonest. They will not live up to the terms of the written agreement. Don't do business with them. They are a bunch of crooks. The salesman from the company told me they were a finace company not an advertising company. So they are also liars as well as cheats.

scam
I payed the 299.00$ upon agreement with brain on 4-13-10 and was suppose to recieve a 300.00 $ gas card after 11-13-10 still no gas card i called in Dec. and they were still active in scamming people It is now 2-8-11 and they will not answer the phone I'm sure im out the money but what i can't under stand is how the goverment lets people like this get away with it I've checked with a lawyer since then and there are no laws stating that a company can not accept money after the sale of your timeshare i will never pay up front fees again my reference number for timeshares around the world is 06081016/060810R

Dishonest Company
This company offers to sell timeshares but they are really a finace company trying to lend money to prospective time share buyers according to Marcus their agent I spoke with. The solicit listings of time shares (which are almost impossible to sell) with a pitch that there is no risk to the seller. They charge an upfront fee (in my case $598) and promise to refund the fee in full if the timeshare does not sell in 120 days. After more than six months I contacted the company by email and asked for my refund gas cards. This was part of the written contract and the gas cards were described as essentially a credit card that could be used at any gas station. Instead of sending the cards they sent me an application to apply for a $500.00 Fuel Certificate. All I had to due was pay another fee to a disreputable internet promotion company to activate my Fuel certificate. The conditions of its use are absurd, I can't imagine anyone being bound by them. The company is called Star Rebates Inc. in Seattle WA. and has lots of internet complaints. There are two problems with Timeshares Around the World. First they do not seem to want to honor their contract. Second their "Fuel Certificate" is not two gas cards as described. When I try and call their number it seems to be always busy. My advice: stay away from this company.

Didn't refund my money
They called me and talked me into selling my timeshares. I finally agreed verbally and they sent a written agreement. I read the agreement and it was not what I thought. Also, when you hire someone to help you sell something it should be based on commission to make sure that they will work and find a buyer. They don't work on commission. They take your money in advanced! Long story short, I never signed the agreement, and state law provides seven days cooling-off period. I called them about 3 days later. Left a message for the agent to call me back, but he never did. Finally I talked to a Shaun from customer service and she agreed to refund my $499 WITHIN A MONTH. I followed-up the phone conversation with an e-mail and she replied me back below:
-----BEGINNING OF E-MAIL CONFIRMATION FROM TIMESHARES AROUND THE WORLD:
Hello,
By September 30, 2010 the charge will be reverse, if your card has not been credit please contact me at the number provided below.
Thanks,
Shaun

September 30 came around and I've never seen my account credited. Sent a number of e-mails but they never replied. Finally I called Shaun back and this time she played dumb. She said there were two people interested in my timeshare and that they are working on them. I told her that I canceled the agreement, and that I've never signed the agreement. I also told her about her e-mail. Finally she said to wait 24 hours. Waited 72 hours, and still no refund. My e-mails were not answered, either.
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS CON ARTIST!

Just Another Con Like The Others
This is the third company I signed up with. They called me about a year ago claiming they could sell my timeshare when no one else could. They told me I had signed up with internet listing companies and they were different. They promissed that they would the last company I ever paid but all of this was a lie. They did nothing for me at all. I started to do my own research and according to Sunbiz.org, Bethany Movassaghi is the President but she is never there to speak with. Instead, they always pass me to a guy named Victor who is rude and just gives me the run around. I don't know who they are paying off to have a BBB rating as high as theirs is but there is no way it is a true indicater of the quality of service they provide.
I HAVE PAID THREE COMPANIES AND THIS IS THE LAST ONE I WILL FALL FOR! DONT GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID!!
