My wife Sunita Agarwal and myself Sumer Agarwal had bought two tickets for flight no9W 725 Delhi- Lucknow on April 26 leaving Delhi at 3:45pm PNRLBTTZK and Tno 5895739330961-62. We had reached the airport at3-3:305pm and after scanning stood in the que to get our boarding pass and also to get our luggage checked in. The lady at the counter Ms Roma took along time in giving 4 b passesto a passenger which she wrongly gave and again asked the passenger to collect fresh baggage and boarding passes, the timing of which can be checked from the computer. On account of this inordinate delay, i requested the lady to first let me check in since D-L flt was the first to leave and the other passengers of other flights could check in laterSince, she would'nt listen, I requested the Supervisor Mr Ashwini Sachdeva to kindly intervene and get me checked in on another counter as I was getting late and We had to reach Lucknow by 6pm because of an important meeting. When I requested him that the flights leaving earliear, those passengers should be given prioirity for checking in, I was flabbergasted to hear from him that this is India and not USA.
Well if this is the state of affairs in Jet Airways and the behaviour of their staff, then that's a very sorry state of affairs.
I missed my flight and had to take Kingfisher flight at 7pm, where not only did they have proper checkin counters, but also the staff was very courteous
On April 23, 2008, my daughter had come to Luvknow from Delhi and the 7pm Jetlite flight left Delhi at 12:15am
