Worst to deal with
I recently bought a rim and tire package on November 2, 2009 from Tire Kingdom in Columbia, SC. I had to put down about $400 dollars on them and have a year to pay them off before they start charging interest. In March 2010 a pothole on hwy 378 popped the tire and cracked the rim.

The tire is unfixable and when I asked who is responsible for paying for it, the answer is me since the manufactureer wont and tire kingdom refuses to. We have filed a formal complaints and talked to corporate and the shop itself without any results. I advise anyone wanting to buy from tire kingdom to reconsider as they do not have good waranty or rules/guidelines on defective products.

So now i have to file a report with the city and highway patrol to see if they are willig to pay for the totaled rim, which is highly doubtful.

Bad service
In December on a trip home from visiting my ailing parents in Canada i purchased 8 tires, 4 for my truck and 4 for my travel trailer upon returning to Canada to spend more time wih my family i noticed that the trailer tires are completely cracked all over after only 1500 miles on them!! I have tried and tried to get even a phone call retuned from NTB/tire kingdom to no avail.

Now my rig is stuck in Canada with dangerously unsafe cracked tires and i have looked into replacing them and it will cost me 750 $

Don't ever deal with this unreputable company.

They sell crap and don't care once they have your money, and their concept of customer service is to feed you polite BLOW OFFS...

RIP OFF
tIRE KINGDOM IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF. EVERY TIME I GO FOR ONE THING THEY FIND AT LEAST 700.00 DOLLARS MORE. THE LAST TIME I WENT FOR A SOMETHING THEY RECOMMENDED ON A PREVIOUS VISIT. THEY CAME BACK WITH 900.00 DOLLARS FOR MORE RECOMMEDED WORK. IM FED UP I CALL CORPORATE OFFFICE AND NOW IM SUMMITTING THIS COMPLAINT. I THINK IT AWLFUL THE WAY THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF, DURING SUCH AS HARD TIME AS THESE WE ARE LIVING IN NOW. THIS WILL BE MY LAST VISIT AND I RECOMMEND PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU DONT KNOW SOMTHING ABOUT CARS!!!

Rip off
What ever you do, don't go to the the Clark road Tire kingdom...they ripped me off me big time...will NEVER go to a Tire Kingdom store again. They ruined my tire and then said I had to buy a new one for a hundred bucks. When I went back to complain to the manager by the name of "BUD" he denied any work was ever done to my tire. he took the work order from the other day that showed what was done and refused to give it to me..and just took it off the clip board and into the office.

The saga continues
After my wife was sold two new rear tires on a new car with 14, 000 miles, we have now been back a total of six different times between the two stores, the car is now vibrating and none of the tire sensors work. They finally admitted to breaking the sensors but still refuse to admit they do not know how to fix the problem, hence the six trips and it is still not fixed. Will update as the manager comes up with more BS and stalling tactics. Does any one have a contact name for corporate, I need my $500 back and someone to pay Ford to fix everything.

alignment
I WAS AT THE LOCATION ON ROYAL PALM BEACH BLVD.ON 2/12/2010 BECAUSE I NEEDED A TIRE.THE EMPLOYEE THAT HELPED ME SAID, THE REASON THE TIRE WAS WEARING THE WAY IT WAS, WAS BECAUSE I NEEDED AN ALIGNMENT. HE SUGGESTED I BUY 4 TIRES AND THE ALIGNMENT. I ENDED UP PURCHASING 2 TIRES AN ALIGNMENT AND AN OIL CHANGE. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS LOCATION FOR MANY, MANY YEARS AND FELT COMFORTABLE HAVING THEM DO THE JOB.
AFTER PICKING UP THE CAR AND HEADING TO RIVIERA BEACH I REALIZED THE STEERING WHEEL WAS VEERING TO THE LEFT. I CALLED THE STORE AND WAS TOLD TO BRING IT IN ANYTIME.
I RETURNED TO THE STORE EARLY EVENING. THE EMPLOYEE BEHIND THE COUNTER TOLD ME THERE IS SOME TOOL THAT HOLDS THE STEERING WHEEL AND IT MUST HAVE SLIPPED. I ASKED HIM " DONT YOU CHECK YOUR WORK" ? GO FOR A TEST DRIVE OR SOMETHING? I GOT NO RESPONSE!
I ALSO WANTED A BULB CHANGED FOR MY TURN SIGNAL AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A 30 MINUTE JOB AND IT WOULD COST $45.00, ITS 2 SCREWS...THAT WAS A JOKE. THE WAY THE ECONOMY IS NOW THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS OR DO BUSINESS.
I PUT MY FAMILIES SAFETY IN YOUR HANDS. I FEEL YOU DID NOT HOLD UP YOUR END OF THE BARGAIN.

tire rebate from xmas holiday
PURCASED TIRES FROM THIS LOCATION, WAS TALKED INTO 4 TIRES WHENI WENT IN FOR 1.RE: 100$ REBATE ON 4. RECIEVED EMAIL ON CONFIRMATION AND TRACKING #. THIS TRACKING WEBSITE IS NON EXISTING.DONT KNOW IF ILL EVER GET 1. MY WHOLE FAMILY USES THIS STORE. IF I DONT GET THIS REBATE SOON. ALL OF US WILL BE BOYCOTTING THIS PLACE. ALSO WHEN MY WIFE WENT TO THIS STORE 4 A OIL CHANGE SHE WAS INFORMED THAT I WAS RUDE WHEN I WAS THERE. I FIND THAT INTERESTING SINCE I WAITED OUTSIDE, SPOKE TO NO ONE ABOUT THE LONG WAIT OR ANYTHING.THIS STARTED A PROBLEM BETWEEN ME AND MY WIFE, WHICH IS STILL IN THE AIR AT HOME 2 MONTHS LATER. Rebate
Tire Kingdome had a Hundred Doller Holiday rebate on the purchas of 4 new tires. I purchased 4 new tires from the Bradenton Florida Tire Kingdom and sent in the required information to the rebate center.
I now have received a notice that I will not receive my rebate due to the SKU number not being on the invoice showing where I purchased the tires. I have contacted this Tire Kingdom location and they will not respond to my calls. I have contacted the corporate location and they will only record the compalaint.
I will never purchase anything from a Tire Kingdom again.

Scam charge
I went to Tire Kingdom in Salisbury NC on 11/9/07 . Wanted two new tires, All 4 wheels aligned, brakes checked for wear and an oil change. After finding the brakes had 50% wear left I declined replacing them. What I got was an inflated shop charge from $4.00 to $14.00.

Just an aligment check nothing actually fixed. All four tires inflated to 70 psi.

I did not pay for the alignment or shop charge.

Never again
It was a sunday and my car was able to run and start up I just had been having issues with the steering wheel and car locking up and having the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light come on the night before, I had my car towed just for safety reasons to your store.

The manager, I believe quoted me $95 to run a diagnostic test on my car and said he'd put it toward the repair if I agreed to the price and procedure. I did. He informed me it would take an hour.

After the wait, I was told they found nothing and reset my car and test drove it twice with no problems. The mechanics told me they thought it was just a glitch.

I wasn't very happy when I had to pay $95 and have to wait an hour when they really didn't do anything.

I was even more upset when I broke down the very next day. I took it somewhere else and they told me I had 3 things wrong with it and I had to pay almost $500 just so my car would be drivable.

I still have my receipts and I emailed corporate this letter.
