Waiting for oil change
I called before I came to make sure they were not busy. They said to bring the vehicle right over. I have been sitting here for almost an hour and my vehicle has not even gone back yet. I asked what was going on and they said there was others in front of me. I told them they should of told me it would take a long time. I had a free oil change coupon. Now I know why those who came after me are being serviced first. I will never come here again.

Disorganized Corporation
Tire Works AKA Morpheus Investments, LLC. is a scam of a company! Jeff and Roshie Weightman are the owners of this company. I have never seen such a company with so many problems and issues. The amount of scandals that goes on in this company is ridiculous! I work in the automotive industry and have for a number of years and have never seen a company that SCREWS the CUSTOMER! TO CONSUMERS, NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE FOR SERVICE.
1. I have seen the history of former/current customers in their so called database and WOW. How can you charge a customer with a "Buick" almost $4, 000 to replace his exhaust system?????? It doesn't cost that much to get a PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM! LABOR WAS ABOUT 20 HOURS WORTH OF LABOR CHARGES. DOES IT REALLY TAKE 20 HOURS TO REPLACE EXHAUST? GOOD THING I REMEMBERED THE CUSTOMER'S NAME SO I CAN HELP THIS CUSTOMER FILE A LAWSUIT, WHICH IS BEING FILED WITH THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY IN LAS VEGAS. WAIT, YOU'LL HEAR ALL ABOUT IT SOON!
2. FREE OIL CHANGES!?!?! YEAH RIGHT, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK TO SEE IF THEY REPLACED YOUR FILTER/AND OR OIL!!! THEY PROBABLY DROVE YOUR CAR IN AND LIFTED IT UP AND DID NOTHING!!! TRUST ME, I'VE SEEN IT HAPPEN AT 5 LOCATIONS!
3. THEY TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE SLAVES! A TYPICAL EMPLOYEE WORKS OVER 70 HOURS A WEEK! 6 DAYS A WEEK, 12 HOUR SHIFTS! RIDICULOUS! I CAN'T WAIT TILL MY MEETING WITH THE D.A.!
4. DON'T BUY! THEY NEVER HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES! TPP (TIRE PROTECTION PLAN) WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP! TO CONSUMERS: IF YOU HAVE A NAIL IN YOUR SIDEWALL OF YOUR TIRE, WHICH THE RMA (RUBBER MANUFACTURER'S ASSOCIATION), BRIDGESTONE, GOODYEAR, MICHELIN, KUMHO, YOKOHAMA, ETC. DEEMS THE TIRE UNREPAIRABLE AND UNSAFE. TIRE WORKS WILL STILL FIX IT NO MATTER WHAT.
5. THEY LIE AND CHEAT! THEY PAY A SALARY OF $450/WEEK TO MECHANICS, AND $550/WEEK TO SALESPEOPLE(MANAGERS) TO WORK 70 + HOUR WORK WEEKS?!?!?! SOUNDS LIKE LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE TO ME. WHICH I HAVE SEVERAL MEETINGS WITH COMMISSIONERS OF THE LABOR BOARD SOON.
6. INSIDE INFORMATION...(SALES PRACTICES) IF A CUSTOMER COMES IN WITH A MAJOR PROBLEM, MGR IS ALL SMILES (WE CAN GOUGE THIS PERSON) TELL THEM THIS IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CAR (EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT) WE CAN GOOD MONEY ON THIS CUSTOMER!!! HOW ABOUT WE CHARGE TO PUT THIS PART ON AND DON'T REALLY DO IT. WE SAVE TIME AND MONEY! YIPEE! WOW, THAT'S GREAT SERVICE DON'T YA THINK??
7. KEEP IN MIND FOLKS, THIS IS 2010! REAL RECENT NEWS! BECAUSE OF ALL THE MEDIA IN THE NEWS LAST YEAR( 2009) MY CHANNEL 13 WAS RIGHT ON TARGET AND SHOULD KEEP THE PRESSURE ON TO SHUT TIRE WORKS DOWN!
8. LAST ADVISE TO PEEPS THAT READ THIS! MAKE SURE YOU DIDN'T BUY GEOSTAR AND MILESTAR BRAND TIRES. THEY ARE MADE FROM THE CHEAPEST RUBBER FROM CHINA. I.E. COST OF A TIRE ($35.00)/TIRE. THEY'LL MARK IT UP TO $60 - $80/TIRE. GOOD PROFIT MARGINS IF YOU ASK ME. I COULD GO ON AND ON. YOU'LL HEAR ABOUT IT AGAIN ON FOX5 AND CHANNEL 13 NEWS. THEY ARE DOING QUITE A BIT OF ADVERTISING ON FOX5 AND SOON THEY WILL FIND OUT THAT THEY ARE GOING TO AIR SCAMS OF TIRE WORKS SOON!

Multiple Bad Car Lifting / Wrong Front/Rear Tire Install
This is actually 3 complaints.
I had a 95 Mitsubushi 3000gt a few years back, i needed new break pads installed. I called tireworks and setup for install. They quoted me on pads and rotors, as I dug into the rotors. Not quite so, I had new rotor's installed last time I had my break pads changed, since it was an old used car I purchased. This was totally unnecessary, due to the fact that when I hear the first warning break squeak I take my car in immediatly.
I insisted on just the pads, and they installed them. I decided to stand in front of the bay as they worked on my car. As soon as the lift went up, i heard a cracking sound. Now, it is an old car, but as soon as I hear this, I look at the lift and kneel down to see what happened, and they have the lift too far to the left drive side of the car, which broke all the plastic enclosed pop pins that hold the side of the lower skirt of the car on. Now making the the plastic/fiberglass skirt flimsy / wobble and look tacky. They said they ordered the parts to repair it, but I didn't bother to take the car in, cause I simply didn't care, I needed a new car, and purchased my car below; which also had a problem at tire works months later.
My new Dodge Charger, I love it :D, however in vegas roads, theres a lot of junk all over the roads that can hurt your body / tires. That happened, and I blew a tire that I needed repaired. I for some unknown reason took my new car to tireworks to get a replacement tire. I was instructed that the 2006 goodyear's on the car were discontinued and had to get something different. Whatever fine, I needed my tire fixed, I had work, and tire works was close to my house. I decide to watch everything and supervise everything while doing it this time. Everything went perfectly, until I noticed while I was washing my car, that the tire I purchased was not a runflat now, while all my other tires are, even after I asked for a runflat, as well as, the rear tires were moved to the front and the front moved to the rear, for a tire rotation. I didn't know at the time, that the car had two different sized tires in front and back, 255 in rear and 245 in front. AND NEITHER DID THEY. I mean come on its a tire shop, shouldn't your know how to install tires properly? Regardless, I don't care and i'm too busy to be bothered by it, I ended up letting the dealership rerotate my tires properly.
The final and most horrible complaint;
My father, for some reason insisted on going to tireworks to get an oil change and see about a gas leak, different location this time. He had a coupon, I think thats the only reason he went. I knew he needed another gas tank, and specified that the gas tank be looked at, as its leaking at the top due to cracking from age. He was called back and quoted 1300, and that there was only 2 left at a ford warehouse in some other state. Come to realize, that ford stopped manufacturing this part years ago, they don't have it in stock, and will not. I googled for it, and the first result stated an oem product, for 130$ shipped, they said they could install it for $200. Pretty signifigant difference. Who was going to profit that $1000 ? Needless to say, they talked him into getting all new pad's and said the rotor's should be replaced, which he declined.
Tireworks did agree to resolve all the issues, but how hard is it to do something right the first time? And charge people an appropriate price the first time, without having to go home and google, and figure out everything for yourself. I mean come on, do you want repeat business, or are you just looking for money?

No Hassle Road Hazard Replacement Plan
On 3-31-07 I purchased 4 brand new tires for my car and purchased the Protection Plan Warranty Tire Works was selling totaling $914.81. This warranty states if I have a "road hazard (such as cut, puncture, snag or impact break) Tire Works, at it's option, will either repair at no charge, or if not repairable, replace the failed tire with a new (same) tire or comparable tire, or refund the original purchase price of the tire only." On 2-18-09 my tire was low so my husband aired it up with his air compressor and took the car to Tire Works. Mike Deaver (the store manager) said that their was a nail in the tire and they can patch it (no charge) but the patch won't hold. He said the tire is unrepairable and we need a new tire. He then proceeded to say that we would have to pay for the tire and the warranty won't cover it because he says we neglected the tire. He says their are burn marks on the tire indicating we drove it while it was flat. This is a false statement. Then he proceeded to tell my husband that all 4 tires look rough and we just need to buy a whole new set of tires. He said he would give us a good deal on a new set for $700. I get all my regular service (oil changes, tire rotation, etc.) done at Desert Nissan and had them fax over my last service. October 18th of 2008 I had the car serviced and Nissan stated all 4 tires were in good condition. Since October 18th as of today 2-20-09 there have only been about 2, 000 miles put on the car. After arguing with Mike about this warranty he told me I could call the Corporate Office. He gave me the number (702) 365-8473. I called and spoke with Heather. She apologized for the way Mike treated us and said she would call him and see what's going on and call us back. She called me back shortly after this and said the same thing Mike said. She said they would not warranty the tire. I asked for a refund since they were going to honor the warranty. She told me that they patched my tire for free. She told me I could take it to another Tire Works location. I asked her if the other location would have to go thru her as well and she said yes and she said they are not going to honor the warranty. Tire Works is lying about this tire. We have NEVER driven this car while the tire was flat. My husband has an air compressor in our garage and he airs our tires up all the time. Tire Works is trying to scam us out of more money by trying to get us to purchase more tires. Mike also informed my husband that the tires I purchased from them in 2007 have been discontinued.

Fraud and scam
My battery needed replacement so I trusted this place to take good care of me since I live in the neighborhood. The manager suggested the best, Ultima battery, supposedly a 5 year battery. I sprung for the $244 battery. Yes, that is right... $244! Five days later the battery was dead in my garage. The tow truck guy told me it was the battery. I called Tireworks and the manager told me that it was the starter. I took the car to the Toyota Dealer and they told me that it was the wrong battery and it was installed wrong, that is why it went dead. I replaced it with another one from the dealer. Tire works refuses to refund my money. Don't trust these guys with anything on your vehicle. I am out the $244 all because I trusted this place. Don't go there... ever or You'll be sorry like I am.
