Poor Quality Snow Straps
I am sorry I did not first read the Blogs about this company. I ordered 2-Pair (quantity-4) of snow tire straps for emergency use. They arrived, via UPS, ($14.99 UPS charge added to invoice shipping from Pa to Georgia??? Each pair was in a white canvas bag, stitched across the top. The bag was stamped Made in China. All this seemed fine until I opened the stiched bags and found that three of the four tire chain straps, could not be re-closed with the locking mechanism. Nothing lined up properly. Obviously these people receive the merechandise in from overseas and never check to see that the mechanical parts line up and that everything is working properly. I was going to contact the company and fiqured it would be a no brainer replacement. After all, they shipped out faulty merchandise and natutrally I assumed they would replace at no charge. Then after reviewing their horrible return policy I realized that I would have to ship the faulty merchandise back to them at my expense, and if I got another poor quality replacement, I would again be shipping back at my expense. Also, if you decide that you want to return the merchandise, they hit you for a 15% RE-STOCKING FEE. OK, so they got me for $60.97, the total price of my order with shipping. I am throwing these chain straps away, it is not worth the aggervation to get a partial re-fund. Chalk this up to my stupidy! Hopefully you will learn by my mistake and those of the others posted here, about this company.
