Poor Servie
I bought 4 tires from NTB in Independence, Mo. I 've had them rotated regularly but today I went in to get an opinion on the safety of my right front tire which had a cut of about 3/4 inch in between the raised section of tread. The first person who said he just started looked at the cut and said he thought it would be okay to drive on even after I explained I drive on winding two lane highways with lots of curves. I asked if he would put that in writing to which he said he couldn't and I should talk with the person in charge, Darryl? After waiting about ten minutes one of the tire techs came in and said he could put a plug in the cut but he wouldn't recommend it. After waiting a few more minutes the person in charge who had been dealing with another customer about overtightened lug nuts became available. However, he wouldn't even look up from the paper work he was doing as I explained the problem he just shook his head and said he didn't take trade ins. I attempted to explain I purchased the tires new from NTB and there was still 5/32 of tread wear left on the tires. I explained I was hoping to get some small credit for the tread wear in left on my tires towards a new set. He just kept looking down at the paper work and re-iterated he didn't take trade-ins. I walked out. His demeanor was INSENSITIVE, UNCARING AND RUDE. I can get this horrible treatment at any UNPROFESSIONAL tire dealer. I'm taking my business to Sears where customer service and professionalism is king.

SHAME ON YOU DISCOUNT TIRES YOU ALWAYS HAVE AN EXCUSE NOT TO COVER OUR TIRES AFTER WE NOT ONLY SPEND A LOT ON TIORES BUT ALSO YOUR ROAD TIRE WARRENTY, AND YOU ALWAYS GIVE EXCUSES, SHAME ON YOU WILL NOT EVER PURCHASE TIRES AGAIN AND NEITHER WILL ANY OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS ANYMORE, ESPECIALLY AFTER WE PLAN A FAMILY TRIP WE ARE IN ANOTHER STATE AND YOUR FIRST EXCUSE IS YOU GOT THE WHOLE ON THE TOP OF THE TIRE NOT ON THE SIDE THEN YOU DONT HAVE IT STOCK ANYMORE THEN, YOU DIDENT PAY THE EXTRA 20.00 FOR THE FULL WARRENTY AFTER SPENDING OVER $1900.00 HOW DUMP IS THAT?????SHAME ON YOU!!!YOU LOST A LOT OF GOOD CUSTOMERS!!!SHAME ON YOU!!!

bad dealership practice

took three weeks to get put on then ask not to come back because I was upset over the change in the price & of how long it took to get them put on
I had oil change was told I would need new tirers & given a price {very high} Three weeks later after a ice storm. I decided I better get them. I phoned the dealer asked again about get good tires about cheap. I was given a price of $553.20. I made a appointment for 1:00 pm on Monday. Phoned back again remembered I had 10% off disscount. so price was going to be $502.20. Went to dealer 15 minutes before 1:00. Was waiting for car when man came back at 1:15 told me I would have to get another appointment because the tires were not even going to be there until 4:00 that day. They do have a car to take me to work which is what they wanted me to do. But I work until 11:30 pm so I would not be able to get the car. I phoned back was told it would be a week before they could do the tiers. To make a long story short it took three weeks to get the tires. Once again an appointment at 1:00 pm. I had to wait 2 and 1/2 hours before I got the car back then they wanted to charge me the first price which was almost $700.00 dollars for the tiers. Because I was upset with them over how I was treated I told them as soon as I got the last 2 oil changes that I had paid for I would not be back and that I would not reconmend them to any one. The next day after I paid them $600.00 and some dollars they phoned me and told me not to come back. Now I am tring to make sure though ever mean proable that they have to do my oil changes. This is very bad business. I had never had any problems or complaint about this dealer until now. Be ware is you us this dealer.

Never go here!!!
I had bought 4 new tires from Tires Plus with the buy 3 get the 4th free deal they had for Black Friday 2009. I asked them to keep one of my tires that I recently had replaced at Toyota so I could have a good spare but they stole my Toyota tire and gave me another one (that was used) instead that doesn't even fit my car!!! On top of this, I have had to replace every tire atleast once, one tire I had to replace multiple times, and it's only been a year!! The last tire that had been replaced shouldn't have even been sold to me, or anyone for that matter, because it was completely unsafe as the inner wall blew out on the Interstate!!! I am a VERY unpleased customer and will NEVER EVER be returning for any kind of service at Tires Plus!!!

prices
The tires at tire plus is to high and they do not give you the miles the claim. I went in 2009 and the service was not good just over price. Now I got a flat on the road and the tolled me in only to be riffed off. the tire is not a good tire .I feel that the service i recieved was over price then trying to force me to aplly for a credit card i did not want. Ithsnk god for the pepboys in the neigborhood cause just becasue they see a woman and child they do not try to take advantage of me and get me to spend $400.00 on a simple tire change.These guy at tires plus faults advertisment for the least expensive tire was all lies. I will never go to them again if the man of stair can help me con-artist work everywhere.

Do not purchase tires from any of their stores. Clearly they are not just incompetent, they are sorry people of poor character with no morals and dont care who they hurt!

FREE GAS REDEMPTION
Four months ago I purchased tires for about $ 700.00 at Tire Kingdom because they told me I would get a FREE GAS REDEMPTION CERTIFICATE FOR $ 500.00. I did everything as resquested and never received any gas cards yet.

me and my boyfriend went to sams to get tires and bought 4 tires and when we bought and paid for all the mounting and balancing done on all of them we were called back to the the tire department for the srevice tech to tell us he stripped 5 lug nuts on one tire and left one lug holding and told us he didnt have the tool to take the lugs off and told us when he gave usthe keys to go home he told us goodluck and left and was no were to be found we could have had a serious wreck going home there service is crappy and there managers are assholes i talked 2 women and one dumb old man that didnt know anything

Where's My spare?
WHERE'S MY SPARE????
I too have had issues with the Les Schwab where I live. I have bought 3 sets of tires and a set of rims there. I went in with a flat and I was using my spare which has the same rim as the rest of the tires. I bought 4 new tires and drove away. A few months later I wound up with a flat because of a nail. I went to the trunk to change it on the road and my spare wasn't in there. It was a fiasco. I called the tire center and told them and they said that they don't store peoples tires and rims there sorry. WTF!! Shouldn't they have put my spare back in the trunk after they put on my new tires? I didn't ever think to check it till I got a flat two months later. I didn't ask them to store my spare at their shop. I went down there to have them check again and it was gone. So where is my spare? Noone there seemed to care it was just like Oh well sorry we don't do this or that bye. Now I have to buy another rim and a brand new tire. I WONT be buying it from Les Schwab. My husband also owns a car lot and he USED to do all of his cars at Les Schwab, awww their loss.
Along with the missing spare, when they put my new tires on they scratched up my rims terribly and when I called them on it they were like we didn't do that it was already there. Needless to say I own a Jag and I am anal about my car. I know my rims weren't messed up when I took my car in. Why don't they take ownership for their mistakes. And their site Lesschwab.com has no contact us info so who do you complain too?
Goodbye forever Les Schwab.
