Purchase Tires
I purchase four new tires on 9/2/08, a few months later, there were thumping noises coming from the tires, I took the car back to sears and was told that there as nothing wrong with the tires, I then took the car to BMW and was told that the problem were the tires. I took the car back to sears in 2/08 and the proceeded to balance the tires and said again there was nothing wrong with the alignment. I continue to hear the noise. Between 9/07 and 8/08 I took the car to Sears 3 times, BMW 3 times and another mechanic 4 times that how often this care was seen. Finally after the last visit to BMW who kept insisting that the problem were the tires, I took the car to the Burlington Center Sears o Route 541 and was told that the tires were "cupped" the serviceman advised me to take the car back to the Moorestown Sears because they had all the records. I took it back to Moorestown Sears and the serviceman proceeded to tell me that it may only need balancing yet again. This was when I insisted that the tires be thoroughy checked and that the other Sears Center in Burlington had checked it and told me that the tires were defective. He then told me that I needed to buy four new tires because they were all damaged. I explained to him that the tires were less than a year old and that they were not use for more that 40, 000 miles as the warranty stated. He proceeded to tell me that I did not take proper care of them that's why they are defected. I then pulled out my 10 receipts to show him that the car had indeed been cared for and I had the bills to prove it. I also found out that I was sold summer tires and not the all weather tires I though I purchase. I will like this mattered look into and I want to be reimbursed for the tires I just purchased because sears failed to properly service the tires and It was still under warranty. By the way, I have the old tires and I do intend to pursue this further.
Thanks.
