I have been duped by Titan Watches.
I had purchased a Titan watch (Design 9650SL101) from M/s Virtual Jewels, Sector 18, Noida on 14.02.10 for my teenaged daughter. The bill of the watch is in my name.
However, the watch stopped after 3-4 months. The watch was given to the dealer. The dealer and the service man (Mr. Vaibhav Srivastava and Mr. Neeraj) had promised me to repair the watch within a week, however it was returned to me after more than 6 weeks. The watch again stopped within 3 -4 days and again given for repair on 14.08.10 (Ref. ID no. 810AN08217B163). The watch was returned to me after more than 4 weeks. This time it stopped after 2 days only and again given for repair on 03.10.10 (Ref. ID 1010AN08217B192). As per Titan site, the status of the watch is still "Pending for Repair". The dealer has informed me that nothing can be done on the watch and asked me to take it back as it is. The guarantee card of the watch is also with him.
As per the dealer Mr. Neeraj, the watch can not be repaired. When I asked him to exchange the watch or give me the Credit note, he simply refused and started misbehaving.
Titan is a well estabilished name, people prefer to buy Titan watches because of its brand value. However I am wholly disgusted with the services offered by the company. I am working as a Sr. General Manager in a well estabilished Pvt. sector company and am aware of all the rules and regulations.
It is requested that the watch may please be exchanged with another model.
