bad coordinator
I went to return some clothes at Tj maxx, the coordinator Lysa D. roll her eyes and said HOLLY S... NOT AGAIN, I been shopping at Tj for years, NOT ENYMORE, afters this incident; MACY'S got better employees that respect all custumers, I do shopping all over the world, and I will make sure non of my friends come to the store PITTSFIELD, MA is out of the map for me.

Rude Service
I was just in TJ MAXX on Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills, Maryland to purchase several items. I asked a lady to help me with a pair of shoes for the price, her name as Sandy, she was so rude that I almost walked out. she was slamming shoes on the counter and said tell the cashier that I said to use $24.99...My friend and I were both taken back by this lack of customer service. My receipt # 12396076. I did purchase the shoes but I will think long and hard before I go back to TJMAXX again...

my husband, my son and i walked to the front door of the store . as i lifted my arm to open the door a woman rushed to the door and started to lock the very top of the door. the three of us were frozen with disbelief. because of the look on our faces she cracks the door for an awkward moment waiting for my response to her locking the door in our faces at 7:50 . i ask "are you guys closed ". she say"yes". what time do you close. 8:00. it's not 8:00. we always close 5 minutes before.after all that its still not even 7:55. i looked at my sprint phone it's 7:53. after i looked at my phone she says "is there a certain thing you wanted to get very quickly". no, i wanted to look. i was shocked and speechless so she just shut the door and locked it. when i finally came to my sences and i called the store to get her name she mumbled it . i let her know that i didn't hear her clearly, she hung up in my face. i called right back, it rung for a while then someone picked up and hung up. wow i am still puzzled!

I was just in the Tjmaxx in Chelmsford the other day. I have always shopped at tjmaxx since i was a little girl. I was trying to buy a sweater and it seemed like the sweater was missing a markdown. The month on the tag was 07 meaning July yet it had only had one markdown. I went to the service desk to ask one of the associates if they could check it in the computer and they refused. So i had requested to speak to a manger and the assciote said that he was busy and would take a long time to get up here to help me! i told him iwould wait, and i did until he came up. I asked him the same question and he refused to check it! i told him i knew it was less money and he said unless you have the same exact shirt (which there was none because it came out in JULY) then he couldnt mark it down! i was disgusted in his attitude and answer and went out of the store extremely mad and confused! im not going to buy a shirt that i know is marked down ! its the company's own damn fault its not marked down to what its supposed to be ! ! ! ! I HATE TJMAXX IN CHELMSFORD ! ! ! ! !

Bad customer service in Tjmaxx, Norwalk CT (CT ave)
HI! I had very bad experience in Tjmaxx Norwalk CT (CT ave), manager was rood and ignored when he was "helping" with my return. He didn't even look at my item and told me that I can't return it because I don't have receipt. This sterling silver necklace came from this TJMAXX, there are other jewelry in exactly same boxes. I'll will bring this issue to corporate headquater.
If you need to return an item in TJmaxx and you don't have receipt, it will be a big problem.

Poor Service
I bought a comforter just before closing last night. Upon rising this morning I placed the comforter on my bed. I immediately noticed a strong chemical odor from the comforter. I placed the comforter back in its package and returned it to the store. Upon arriving at the store the return clerk whispered to the other clerk and said what did you do to it? I said I did nothing to it as I only had it out of the bag to place it on my bed. She said she can't take anything back that was used. I said it wasn't used. Taking it out of the bag to place it on the bed isn't using it. Remember it was less than 12 hours since purchasing it! She smelt the comforter. She called her manager. She stated: " just this once they would take it back " What the Heck???? I do not make many returns to stores. The store policy states a 30 day return policy with receipt. I asked to speak with the store manager Laura Lacey. I waited a few minutes for her to come speak with me. She did not come out. I told the clerks I would contact corporate headquaters with my complaint of poor service which I did. Corporate said they would contact the manager. I hope they get her and the store some training on good customer relations. I don't think in this uncertain economy any store can treat a customer loke this and stay in business. There are many other high end discount stores offering merchandise to put up with this kind of poor service. I will be shopping elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE should you ever want to return something to the TJ MAXX store in this western Wisconsin city. Sincerely, Dissatisfied Customer with six figure income
