fraud charge
Was charged $11.99, not sure what for. Called the company and told them I already spoke to the
BBB and Attorney Genenal and wanted a refund immediately and to be removed from their system.
Can only think this was from me booking a hotel on
one of those BizRate websites.

False Debit Charge

TLG Great Fun
As of 17 March 2009 this is the current contact information to CANCEL MEMBERSHIP, which you have to do before taking anything up with your credit card company in order to get any satisfaction. Like so many others here I have been charged an initial sign up fee of 30 plus dollars and a recurring monthly installment of 11.99 for a huge break of 30 dollars on a room I booked with one of the travel dot coms.
Call 1-800-290-8603 and if you have your original membership information in the packet they sent, which you probably don't, because I never received one; your membership number is listed there. Do not fret, an electronic operator asks you for your last name and street address number, after that you are connected with an outsourced costumer service desk and that is where you can tell them to stop charging you and cancel your membership.
Now here is the kick, while I was on the phone with them, the CS operator tried to sell me more useless garbage and a free 30 dollar gas card if I was willing to try many of the other great things TLG Great Fun had to offer, you know I almost laughed myself to death! Be sure to ask for a confirmation number prior to hanging up with the operator and write it down, along with the time and date you called so you can use it to defend yourself in the event of future charges occur on your credit card. charging bank account w/o permission
This company charged my credit card without authorization for 12.99 each month . I cancelled the card 3 times and finally closed the account. Please stop . the phone number does not offer any help. they put you on hold and then never pick up.
I think it is a phone scam as well. Dangerous company. aPut them out of business

Deduction from chkg. acct. w/o my consent.
TLG without my signing up for this service deducted 11. 99 from my chkg. acct. I don't know how this happen. This was a first time deduction and I did catch it early. From this site I obtained an address and telephone # (1-800-242-7771, thank you). I did call and spoke to a woman named Jack and explained the situation. She hesitated to cancel but I let her know that I read the complaints about this company online and did find out that I had 30 days to cancel this service. She then honored my request. I did get a cancellation code code and a promise that my money would be refunded. I will monitor TLG and write a follow up.

Unauthorized Charges
I noticed charges on my credit card for JAN & FEB 09 for $14.99. These charges were from TLG Great Fun. I have no idea why these charges were on my credit card. Supposedly I authorized these charges. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THESE CHARGES. I was told it was because I had ordered somethingelse from a TV advertisement. I have been ripped off and they will not refund my money.

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES
Suddenly my aunt was seeing charges on her bank statement for $12.99. She had no idea what this was from. I work at the bank and we looked it up. It was from TLG GREAT FUN. I advised her to dispute the charges and close her debit card. She did. I also tried to call the 800 number that was listed and promptly got disconnected after waiting to speak to a live person. Maybe they knew I was calling from a bank. Scammers!

Unauthorized Charges
I have receieved several different charges over the last couple of months for this company and have no idea what for...I'm not sure WHO they even are!!! Unfortunately, when I attempted to call all I received was a recording stating that due to high call volume my call could not be taken at this time..
What do I do? Please Advise

Charge On Credit Card
We have no idea why charges of $11.99 are appearing on our Bank Statement. We never noticed it until doing our taxes this year and going through our expenses. This is quite insidious. there is an 800 number that we will try to call in the morning. We appreciated finding others with this complaint on this site which is making us think that this is, in fact, something fraudulent or at the very least a misrepresentation of some kind of service. We appears that whatever it is we're being charged for was something we never intended to purchase - whatever that something might be !
