Fraud charges!
In October 2006 my mother passed away suddenly, so I took over handling my father's bills. We paid off all his credit cards and put them away nothing has been charged on them since that time. Yesterday I got a statement from his Union Plus card showing a $99.99 charge to TLG Great Fun. I knew this was not his charge he is almost 80 years old and can barely walk. We called HSBC (Household Bank) that issued the Union Plus card and ask that this be investigated. They informed us we needed to call TLG Great Fun to discuss this charge and request a credit. My father called and they are associated with HOUSEHOLD BANK, HSBC, DIRECT REWARDS DISCOVER, ETC. Any card issued through HSBC, which is interesting since I have at least 4 cards issued to me from that bank. They send out checks which if cashed sign you up for this TLG Great Fun. Now although we have received these checks they have always been tore in half and throw out, they seem to take it upon there selves to add it to some cards anyway. As a group we should find out what can be done to stop this illegal scam and like other banks make HSBC pay everyone back.

Unauthorized charge!
We had charged movie tickets for the "Hannah Montana Limited movie" through Fandango.com that automatically entered us into membership for this ripoff company. My wife had never had authorized this nor did she even get the prompt that said this service would be charging us. There wasn't any hassle upon calling the number for getting our money back (so they say, we'll see in 10-15 business days), but if we hadn't been watching our account, this could have easily gone unnoticed. I would highly suggest being very wary upon using Fandango.com as well as watching for this unauthorized charges on your account.

TLG Great Fun-illegal charges
ONE DAY I WAS LOOKING AT MY CHECKING ACCOUNT STATEMENT AND NOTICED A TLG GREAT FUN CHARGE FOR $11.99. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS CHARGE LET ALONE EVEN KNOW THE NAME OF THIS COMPANY. I CALLED TWICE THE # PROVIDED AND WAS DISCONNECTED TWICE - THIRD TIME GO THROUGH SPENT 10 MINUTES CONVINCING THE PERSON THAT I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS AND DO WANT ANY PART OF IT.
FINALLY GOT A CANCELLATION NO.
THE TELEMARKETER STATED THAT I SIGNED UP FOR THIS WHEN I ACCEPTED AN ONLINE REBATE FROM THE AVON WEBSITE - WHICH I THINK I WOULD HAVE REMEMBERED THE REBATE AND/OR SIGNING UP FOR ANYTHING LIKE THIS.

Charged credit card without authorization!
Company took $35.99 out of my bank account without any authorization.When it came to my attention, I called. I wasn't very happy. I gave the supervisor on the phone my name, address, phone number. When I did this she gave me a address that they had on file with my credit card number (in Arizona, I am in California), then had the nerve to ask me if I ever lived in Arizona when the charge was made(3/14/2008). I told her that Ive been at the address that I gave her for 25 years. Then she had the nerve to ask me if I was sure that I live in California. After 20 minutes of going around and around with this idiot (and thats being nice), she wanted me to fax over my credit card statement from my bank to the company's fax. Then she said after they receive that info, her boss would look into the matter of them taking the money from my account. When I got off the phone with her, I immediately went onto the net and typed in their name. My mouth dropped when I saw all the complaints about TLG Great Fun. I immediately called my bank and put in a complaint with the fraud department The lady in the fraud department called TLG and before I knew it I was on a three way call with the fraud department and TLG. My $35.99 I was told will be refunded back into my account by Thursday morning (3/20/2008) at the latest. You can guarantee that if the money isn't back in my account, they (TLG and my bank) will be getting another call from one very angry female. If you are a Bank of America customer BEWARE!!! Apparently TLG Great Fun likes to "hit" that bank the most. I am still furious about the whole situation. Still don't know how they got my info to begin with. I don't even shop online and I am careful when and where I use my credit card. Hopefully I will get my money back and I wont have to take this matter further.

Unauthorized charges on credit card!
Received two months in a row charges of $11.99 from a company called TLG Great Fun that was not authorized by me. I checked on the web and found our that from the complaint board its a credit card scam.

You will be getting a letter from my attorney, you said you were refunding my money and then you turned around and stole more money from me. Cancel my card and account with you. I never authorized you to take money from me in the first place. I would like to know how you got my information. The attorney will contact you.
