I noticed a $119.99 charge to my credit card. I immediately called my credit card co. I was told to contact the co. to find out what the charge was. I called TLG Great Fun and spoke to someone who asked me for personal info to access "my account." he could not find my "account" with my name and address and passed me along to a "supervisor" who actually asked me for my credit card number. I would not give it to her and she stated she could not help me then and that I could fax a copy of my bank statement showing to charge to them and gave me a fax number. I asked who they were and she said a discount co. affiliated with many other co.'s. I asked her who these co.'s were and she said Orbitz, Hotwire, and Cheaptickets. I have never used any of these co.'s. I used Travelocity and so I thought maybe since it was an online travel site, maybe it was through them, but their customer service dept. assured me they have no affiliation with TLG Great Fun.

Will someone please help me? Who are these people and how did they get my info??

I purchsed something from a website I thought I trusted. A couple of months ago. And just today 2/21/08 I saw a "pending" charge from Great fun. I called Great fun and asked them who they were affiliated with. Amazingly they were helpful and told me who it was. "AVON" They also said they would refund me .we'll see how that goes. I called Avon and they did tell me that there is a pop up for the discount program when you checkout.

They sort of acted like they knew about it but couldn't really do anything about it. I proceeded to tell him I didn't get a popup so I didn't sign up for anything. TLG is signing you up whether or not you get a pop up. I am going to wait until I am refunded and them I am going to close my account at my bank. It sucks that now people may have to call the company they wish to purchase an item from online to make sure they are not affiliated with these people.

We can't trust anything anymore. Companies and people and get your info just by you visiting a website. that's sad. I am also going to file a complaint with the BBB

Checked my cc statement and saw a charge for 12.99 from this company. When I called they said I had signed up for this service through Orbitz. However, I can't recall signing up for anything through this company. They said my money would be refunded.

Shady people and a shady business.

TLG great fun charged my checking account $35.99 dollars. I did not order anything, or ever have ordered anything from this company.

So i call these jokers after being charged over $150 total for this crap and some guy named Ron, who I'm sure his real name is Abu or something, tells me i signed up for a membership back in November of 2007, which is pure crap. He goes on to tell me they received a positive response from my email address confirming the membership. Again, pure crap. They promised me I'd have the full refund back on my card within 10-15 business days.

Any of you guys and girls out there NOT get your refund back after the 10-15 days...
