Unauthorized Credit Card Charges
TLG Live Well is a company that works with 1-800-Flowers to offer discounts to consumers at a membership status. They are not a stranger to this board I've recently discovered. I found they had recently charged my debit card $38.99 for a membership fee that I had never authorized. Apparently, when you accept a 15% off coupon from 1-800-Flowers on your next purchase, it automatically signs you up for this program. A trusting consumer assumes that the coupon is a thank you for shopping on the site, however, its just a hook to process unwanted charges through this secondary site. I called immediately and was welcomed with a suggestion that I use the benefits I've been given since I was charged. Though normally understanding, I replied very calmly that I did not authorize them to sign me up for anything and I don't want any of the coupon offers that the operater was willing to send. He notified me that I would be refunded the money in the next 7 business days and my membership would be cancelled. He sounded very scripted and when I didn't accept his first suggestion, backed down to my response which shows me that he must field these call all day long. This company definitely makes money off people not checking their statements because had I not paid attention, they would have continued to charge me every month. This situation honestly makes me no longer want to buy through 1-800-Flowers. The company has always delivered wonderful service but who wants to worry that if you click the wrong button you'll charged for something you didn't purchase? I'm definitely disappointed in the their affiliation with this kind of scam.

unathurized credit card charges
My story is the same as all the others however, i called the company (when they charged my debit card their phone number was next to the charge) and asked them to cancel and refund the charges. they were very hesitant saying i chose to sign up for tlg (which i did not) and tried to make me feel irresponsible. i told them that they stole my number and i would notify the proper authorities if they did not return my money. they quickly said they would do so. but they r criminals. i didnt trust them so i called my bank so they would stop anymore charges from that company which has worked so far. i still would like to report them to someone (especially b/c in my case they basically stole my credit card number)...anyone have any ideas?
P.S. i will never use 1800flowers again and will make sure everyone i know knows about this scam.

fraudulent membership
Check your credit card statements! Esp if you've ordered flowers through 1-800Flowers.com. TLG is an affiliate of 1-800Flowers.com and when you order flowers if you choose to receive a rebate on your order you will inadvertently be signed up for a bogus membership w/TLG Live Well. The membership is worthless, provides no service whatsoever and no communication to it's members. It will however charge your credit monthly fees. I have been charged twice a month by them since January: 1 charge of $12.99 and one of $38.99 each month. I should have been more diligent, no doubt but that doesn't excuse this theft. I have contacted both TLG Live Well and 1-800Flowers.com and neither is willing to help so I've initiated disputes for the charges. If anyone knows of a current class action suit against either company please provide info. In the meantime, buy your flowers elsewhere!

unoauthorized charge
After ordering flowers for a relative who was very sick, I received, one month later, a charge for $38.99 from TLC Live Well. I don't know who they are or what the charge is for. It was charged in addition to what I paid for the flowers. I think 1-800-flowers.com should be responsible for the companies they share cc info with and should issue the refund since everything happened through their website!

Unauthorized Charges
I made a purchase from 1-800-Flowers a little over a month ago, and just noticed a charge for TLG LIVE WELL, however I NEVER authorized this, beings that I've worked for a bank in the past, I have knowledge about fraudulent purchases. Ironically when you call TLG LIVE WELL, the customer service is closed. Anyone who encounters this, has to speak to someone at their bank to fight the charges, overdraft fees (if needed), and possibly request a new bank card to avoid a new charge.

Fraudulent Charges
NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM 1-800-FLOWERS!!!
I was reviewing my account and discovered an unauthorized charge, for $36.99, from TLG Live Well. My husband and I have never done business with this company or even heard of them. I called my bank and obtained a phone number, 1-800-793-2318. I called the company and told them that I wanted the money returned to my account immediately and inquired about the nature of this charge. As it turns out, over 7 months ago my husband ordered flowers for my birthday, from 1-800-FLOWERS. I was told that when he ordered those flowers he was signed up for a membership for discounts on various items. The membership was automatic and if you did not call to cancel before the free membership trial was over that you would be billed. Then the operator explained that we could go online and get coupons, for things we didn't ask for or even want! I told them that I wanted the account canceled and I wanted a refund. I was given a cancellation number and told that a refund would be issued within 7 days. We will see if that actually happens, or not. Long and short of the story, DO NOT ORDER FROM 1-800-FLOWERS!!!

unauthorized charges
I have ordered flowers from 1800 flowers and never had any problems for a couple of years. I have just recieved a debit of 38.99 on my bank account which also cost me 35.00 over draft fee from TLG live well. I searched this company and landed on this site. Only way i knew it was from 1-800flowers is due to this site and the other complaints I would like to cancel this due to I did not sign up for this and have my funds returned. Live well gave me a customer service number 800-793-2318 but can not get through.

Unauthorized Charges
I ordered flowers through 1-800 flowers a in March 2008. In June 2009, my account was debited 38.99. The bank also notified that the same amount was debited from my account in March 2008.
According to the company TLG Live Well, when flowers are ordered, the individual is automatically signed up for a program that removes 38.99 from your account unless you specify otherwise. The problem is, the customer ordering the flowers is not given information about the program so you are not aware until you see money coming out of your account. The custmer service representative agreed to place the money back in my account without an arguement.
It seemed as if they are aware of their hidden non-informative tactics. How can the better business bureau stop them from this practice
