My wife and I have been charged 2 EFT transfer from our Bank of America checking account of $19, 99/month since 1 Jan 2011. This charge was apparently initiated by a $1.00 fee charged to the card while evaluating some "free" service. What you don't know is that there is a default checked box opening you up to further EFT withdrawals. Concurrently with these charges, we have been receiving lewd, crass, disgusting magazines which we would never read much less have in our home and it remains unclear where they are coming from. When we did some initial investigation, we were told by the magazine that we were not being chareged. I only found out about the charges to our Bank of America account when one of the magazine distributers stated that we were being charged. Since we hadn't been doing On-line Banking with Bank of America...I, almost exclusively, use this acount for Pastoral Ministry, Teaching, Travel, Job Search, Medical, Gas expenses.

After receovomg notification from the bank that we had a negative balance and were being charged fees, I opened up our On-Line account to discover all of these charges from TLG+GREATFN and another agency TLG+FRTLADY, each making 2 withdrawals per month around the middle of the month. On speaking with Bank of America, they informed me that they would only assist me with the $141 charged over-draft fees and the last 60 days occurance on our account. This leaves my wife and I "eating" several hundred dollars when I have been unemployed for 19 months and my wife is disabled.

It's not clear, at this point, what avenues are open to us since it is higly unlikely that these two agencies will return accrued funds without some pressure which my wife and I are unable to apply. I have written to the bank about the fact that $80 in charges from these two companies have been withdrawn from our accound despite our disputing these charges AND changing our DEBIT Card Account numbers.

I'm Frustrated to say the least!
