I made a purchase on Amazon.com, and the next day I get a call from Today's Escape with an offer for a Wal-Mart gift card. All I had to pay was a dollar for shipping and handling. They also offered me another gift card for one more dollar. I said no. Right before I hung up, the girl on the phone said well can we just verify your master card number?? I said how can you verify something you don't have? She read it out to me...

Now the only way this "Todays Escape” could of got my number is through amazon.com. Are they really allowed to sell your credit card information? Is not that against the law? Well any way, I figured that if they are in partnership with Amazon, they must be an ok company. So I said yes to the 2 dollar deduction, and waited for my gift cards. I never received any gift cards, and they took 25 dollars from my account. I am investigating it now. I am combing my bank statements for anything suspicious. They gave me a fake web address, so I can’t even go there and complain. They scammed me. Beware.
