failure to resolve complaint
I would appreciate it if you would circulate the following as I have been "ripped off" and others will be, by a large U.S. corporation. I think we all resent, as recent years have shown, large companies not really caring about their impact on the so-called "little guys".
I am referring to the GPS mapping company, TomTom, Inc.
I recently purchased a $60 downloaded map of Greece from them which, when I used it, proved to be very out of date. It actually would not provide me with a correct map from my hotel to the departure airport and nearly caused me, and my family, to miss our flights back to the US. On many occasions we simply could not use it and had to rely on asking people along the road for directions.
When trying, amicably and intelligently, to resolve my problem, I was essentially given an arrogant "screw you" attitude and told there was nothing that could be done. I was not even looking for a refund but some form of resolution.
The supervisors were terrible and I highly recommend that YOU NOT USE TOM TOM GPS in the future.
Thanks and please pass this along to the whole world.
