I (Michael Beck) worked for Tom Beyerink. When I was hired there Tom told me that I was going to be changing tires and doing oil changes on vehicles. I have been there from may of 2009-febuary of 2011. I have been doing mechanical work for him and only getting 9.00 dollars an hour for all of it. He (Tom) should have been paying me for doing the machanical work also. Some type of commission or something.
While I was working there he always hadd his family up there and his son Ethan Beyerink was always abusing me. He was always throwing fireworks at me while I was working under a vehicle. He would kick me and also call me names while I was there. I dealt with this kind of stuff the whole time I worked there. That is not the way a buisness is suppose to be ran. Tom would also scream and yell at me for things that I never ever did. I deserve to be repaid for all of the crap that I have been putting up with.
When my wife Melissa would come up there or many other women, Tom would always grab himself and ask them to go have sex later on that night or later in the week. Is that sexual harassment? My sister-in-law came up to visit last summer and as soon as she met Tom, he did the exact same thing to her. He didn't even know her.
I (Michael Beck) was at work every day early and he claims that I was never there on time. You can ask anyone of the guys that come down there for coffee every morning. He won't give me my last check. He held my first check and he will not give it to me. He also is trying to tell everyone that I am losing him customers. How that is true is beyond me cause I always got tips from these people . I worked my but off up there. There are many people in town that have told us that they will not go back to Tom cause Tom is rude to a lot of people. This is not how to run anytype of buisness at all. I would love to get the money that I am owed for doing mechanic work and tire work and oil changes.
