This company lures you into thinking you are getting a "free trial", but they get you by the fine print per say, in the fact that if you do not cancel within 15 days of THEIR ship date, not when you receive the product, they will charge you for the "Free Trial" at that time on the the 16th day. Also, when you try to cancel I was told to call back in 30 minutes several tiems due to their data system being down . I called right back & got it taken care of. I had to have a second charge of $84.91 removed after having to pay for the "TRIAL" bottle ($78.84). It is infuriating, do not be fooled by them as many have.

I ordered a free trial (pay only shipping costs) and since I ordered the Akai Berry product that OPRAH WINFREY's show was touting, I also gave this cleanse a try (another one for shipping only $4.95).
Free Trial - no, scam...This is a total scam. For starters, you order thinking you just want a trial. Now I have gone back and in little tiny letters (you know, the "let's screw the consumer" fine print, they show that you are enrolling for $78 dollars a month PLUS SHIPPING. That's almost a thousand dollars a year for a product you haven't tried. Now they know you aren't going to catch on until it's too late. So, their risk free, RISK FREE?? Guarantee is that you will get screwed out of your $80 unless you watched the calendar for 15 days and canceled. Then you can call someone who couldn't find an English word if it was their native tongue.

To top it off, you cannot get them to escalate to a manager or supervisor. They are like hired broken records. They will not give you your money back. It's too late. If you did send it back within15 days, they will take a ridiculous restocking fee of %30 out of your money.

So, I canceled my debit card 6 days before Christmas because they wouldn't let me out or give me my money back. Then, when I went to the bank, they said because of their refund policy, they wouldn't give me a credit.
So, I have paid almost $100 for a bunch of crap because Oprah said it was great and his site touts all of the major networks.

THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM. WHY NOT JUST ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW AND THROW OUT $100.

I'm so disgusted. This is the kind of thing that gives buying off the internet a bad reputation. Oh, and they also charged me for using my card (their merchant fee, which is illegal). $00.79, you know...insult to injury.

And I'm no dummy. I built and operated my own E-commerce business for close to 8 years. You can always give back the customers money. That's what you are suppose to do. You build your business on integrity and customers being happy, not seeing how much you can milk someone for.

After hearing that this program had been presented on the Oprah Show, I found a web site advertising this product, along with the Acai Berry for a two step weight loss program. I placed an order online and recieved the product within about 10 days. there was a $5.95 shipping fee, if you liked the product, and did not return it within two weeks from the date of shipping you were then charged the full price of $78.84, with recurring shipments monthly. The product burned my gut and I attempted to call the number given repeatedly and there was never live person, just a message and canned music. So I went ahead and mailed the product back with a request to cancell my subscrition. On 12-8-2008, my account was charged $78.84. I called my bank to dispute the charge and called the phone number given, 53 times in three days. In checking my bank balance again, today, my account has been debited $84.??. I finally got through to a live person at 6:35am who told me they had never recieved my return, but agreed to cancel my order and my most recent charge would be reversed. I asked for a name and confirmation number, he said his name was Bobby Mercer (with an East Indian accent), and my confirmation number would appear in an email that I would recieve immediately. I recieved an email almost immediately, with no confirmation number and no mention of returning my latest charges. I am contacting the fraud department of my bank, today and am going to contact the Oprah show and let them know what a scam this company is.

I had ordered Total cleanse from the website and they charged my card 5.95 for S&H then I had called the 1-800-903-3002 to try and cancel the membership and the number does not work. I have fought with these people to cancel after I was charged even before the trial period had ended. When I first called to dispute they were rude and said that it was non refundable, did I not read the webpage! I got off the phoneand went to their site andbegan to print everything off including where it stated that only the shipping and a 30% handling charge. I immediately called backagain and this time I began to threaten them with me filing a formal complaint with the Attorney Generals Office thay said that they have cancelled and that I should recieve my money within 3-5 days, I have called them back and they just give me the run around and even tell me to wait for the email from the "Infamous Refund Team. If the money is not in my account by 12/24/2008 I will be filing a formal complaint or dispute through my financial institution with this group too. I have been so distraught over this whole experience. I can only pray that someone soon will indeed put an end to the injustice by predators like these that are literally stealing from all they come into contact with.
