I spoke Dan Wise in Feb, 2010. He represented that TSC would settle $64800 in credit card debt for $41250 paid in installment 60 months. This was to include, service fees of $24.95/month, and settled credit card and medical debt, credit report repairs and at no interest. The actual agreement was initially to settle $64800 for $37136.85 including $35640 as “settled debt”. Later in May this was updated to settle $70092 in credit card debt for $39416.35 including 38550.60 in “settled debt”. Dan told me to stop paying my credit cards and that they would handle calls to my creditors and stop harassing collection calls. Conversations with Denise Weitzel, represented as the owner, did not contradict these representations TSC was to communicate the results of contacts with creditors and settlements. I emailed a request to terminate the agreement and refund my payments 10/28/2010
According to Noteworld statements the following happened:
1. TSC and Noteworld collected $$5588.58 from March to Oct. 2010. 2. Noteworld collected $87.15 in service charges 3. Noteword place $691.30 in a “reserve account. This was refunded to me in November 4. Noteworld paid TSC $87.50 in service charges and $4722.63 in “Orig fees
The only communications received from TSC were notes detailing the setting up of my account. I called Denise several times over the next six months to find out what they had done and that I was still getting calls from creditors. To the best of my knowledge TSC did not stop creditor calls, as these continued. Contrary to the phone representation, TSC’s contract actually indicates that they do not actually pay any settlement or do much of anything represented by Dan Wise.
Over the term of the agreement TSC would have taken $29, 900 in “orig fees” and $750 in monthly service fees. Noteworld would have taken $747.00 in service fees. This would leave only $8019 to settle the debts or about 11 cents on the dollar. It is highly unlikely that TSC could possibly settle any credit debt at that rate.
I requested in writing, by certified mail, a refund if the Orig fees by Jan. 15, 2011. I have received no response.
