Horrible customer service
The order that I placed 4 weeks ago has yet to be shipped I have contacted Totsy, it took them 3 days to respond, I was told to contact them again last week if I did not get an update on my order, I did not get the update and I did contact them again. It has now been 4 days, no reply, and my item still has not shipped. I will never buy from this company again, and I am making a point to let everyone know about their terrible service.

ZERO Customer Service
On June 23rd, I was attempting to use the $10.00 credit that was emailed to me by Totsy (thanking me for my first purchase) - as I had seen a cute lacing sneaker that I wanted and figured I could find some other things to meet the $50.00 mark. As I was shopping, I noticed that the little timers that are on each item in the cart seemed to be counting down at warp speed. I'd add something to my cart - only to find that other things I had added previously were gone. Within minutes! I could go back and add them again, but then other things would disappear. So - I tried to do it super fast and hurry to "checkout" and in the end, my total was just under $50.00 - because it had deleted the lacing sneaker that I had come for in the first place!!

Yet, it was there during checkout - and Totsy even put a "hold" on my credit card for the right amount. But when the order was processed and I got the confirmation - the amount was less than the "hold" and the sneaker was gone. Thus, I didn't even get the $10.00 credit because it was $48.00 or something - UNDER the $50.00 mark.

This was a TOTALLY frustrating experience. To top it off, when I contacted Totsy customer service, they were excruciatingly slow to get back to me. I actually had to write a few times - each time getting a supposedly "new" reference number from their system - yet is was always the SAME number! I guess all customers are issued the same reference number!

In the end, "Manny" finally wrote back, but said sorry - he could not add the lacing sneaker to my order. And he acted like I didn't know how the timers worked and gave me some "tips". I know how they work - but they were MALFUNCTIONING. He agreed to add the $10.00 credit to my account, but I had to go back and purchase it separately. So I did (timer worked correctly this time) - and I got $10.00 off - BUT I had to pay an additional $7.95 shipping charge. Which, I wouldn't have had to do if it had been included within the previous order like it should have been. So, woo hoo - a $2.00 discount. Way to go "above and beyond" for your customers.

Ugh. Totally not worth the hassle - from beginning to end. Look, I understand that sites can go wonky. But Totsy's customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. They need to work on responding to customers more promptly, BELIEVING them when they report website malfunction - and accommodating them for the inconvenience by at least making them "whole". I wasn't asking for anything more than I would have gotten if the website had been working properly!

Amusingly, within the response, "Manny" also wanted to make sure I knew that I could earn $15 of free Totsy credit by referring a friend. Thanks for including that "important" information during this exacerbating time "Manny" - but, I'll pass.

Not worth the wait all sales are final
I had read in my parenting magazine that this site could save you money on designer merchandise. The company has items for sale for a limited time. Once the sale ends, they place one order with the manufacturer thereby saving the consumer money.
Well, the savings if any aren't worth the wait.

In total I have placed three orders and will not order again from them.

My first order was for 4 shoes for my girls. I didn't realize they that state that orders generally take up to 5 weeks. After 6 six and not receiving any shoes, I emailed the company. I got back a reply that they had just come in and would be shipped out soon. I placed my order in October and wanted the one shoe for Thanksgiving. Well that didn't happen. I didn't receive any shoes until December. I then did receive my order except for the show that originally had me place an order. After several more attempts, I found out that they no longer had my shoe. I don't understand how they couldn't since they only order the amount of shoes consumers buy. Anyway. it took me three months to resolve this issue and get my money back.

During the first 5 weeks of waiting, I placed another order of 4 toys. 2 of them I received within 2 weeks. Another toy came 8 weeks later and it is now on 11 weeks and I haven't received my last item. I contacted the company and they stated that there was a large demand for this item and they will put in a request to get it to me. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything.
Since my 1st order I didn't get my shoe, besides giving me back my money they also credited my account. I used this credit to place my final order with. I ordered 2 more shoes. The one shoe came within 4 weeks, but the other shoe hasn't arrived. The other shoe that is missing, I already had a problem with. I ordered the shoe in a size 12 month, but my receipt says 0-6 months. I immediately contacted the company and they said all sales are final and that can't correct it. So in the end, my credit was pointless because the shoe I needed won't fit my daughter.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. The supposed sale is not worth the wait and hassle. Plus, I have found the items in question on other websites for a little bit more money.

Once I clear up all my items, I will never order from them again.

I have twice applied my $30 credit to an order only to be charged full price. They always promise they'll fix it, but somehow that never seems to happen.

Stay away from this company at all costs!

Then, when I finally (10 weeks after placing my order) received a refund, they didn't refund the shipping cost. I will NEVER use this site again. A complete and total sham!!! DO NOT trust ordering from this site. I will be reporting to BBB and listing terrible reviews on any and every site I can find. Worst on-line buying experience EVER!!

Never received half of my order
I placed several orders with Totsy. All of which were very, very delayed. I am yet to receive more than half of my order placed on October 27. They are now sending the products on their website again! Every email I have sent has come back as they will report it to the appropriate department and I am yet to hear back from any of them. My expected delivery date was November 24th. I have filed a report with the better business bureau and I am about to dispute the charges.
I have not received a valid response at all!

Items order are not delivered
I am an avid online shopping, and never in all my online shopping experience have I dealt with a worst company than Totsy. I placed two separate orders with Totsy. One on October 12, 2010, and the second on October 22, 2010. It is now November 28, 2010 and I still do not have my orders.

I contacted customer service, and they did not provide a clear answer to when my orders will ship. After the first two e-mails they stopped responding to my e-mails altogether. However, Totsy did help themselves by taking money out of my bank account for the items that haven't even shipped yet. Nor do I know when they will ship, since they stopped responding. My estimated shipping dates have come and gone, and I haven't even received a complimentary
e-mail explaining why, or even offering a refund on shipping. I had to contact the BBB on the matter. Hopefully now, I can get a response.

I don't see how this company even advertises toys and other merchandise for Christmas when there is NO WAY the items will be in on time. I would rather pay full price for any item than have to explain to my child that their christmas gift will not be in on time.

Totsy is a scam!

This company didn't send the product in the 3 - 5 weeks stated but in 8 weeks
This company didn't send the product in the 3 - 5 weeks stated but in 8 weeks. They didn't give me my $15 referral credit for 4 months. Currently I am waiting for a pair of shoes, 7 weeks. At 6 weeks they said they were in the warehouse ready to ship now at 7 weeks they are no where in site. You can not contact them by phone and they send out automated responses to emails. Horrible company! But don't take my word for it, look at their facebook page where there are many other comments of the same.
