Don't order from TouchStone Catalog if you expect quality products and great customer service!
We ordered 5 items from the catalog all at once, online.
1)Never received an order # or order confirmation #, both when placing the order on the webpage, or anything via email
2)Had to call customer service to get an order #, and discovered that an account had been set up for us automatically!
3)Items online all were reflected as being 'in stock' but when reaching customer service, was informed that it would be 3-4 WEEKS until the items would be shipped
4)Once getting the account # set up for us, could not get any status for the order online for 3 days
5)Once able to see the order online, one of the 5 items had 'fallen off' the order; when calling customer service again, they informed us that the item was 'No longer available' and they were not sure if they would get any more of said item in stock. However, they attempted to add the item back TO the order, and it was rejected. When checking the website, the EXACT same item was still reflected as being 'In Stock'! Over the past 2 weeks, when checking that item online, it STILL reflects that it's 'In Stock', though supposedly, there are no more in stock, and there will be no more that will be available for purchse!
6)Other 4 items finally arrived yesterday in 4 boxes. NO PACKING SLIP in ANY box. One of the 4 boxes had another person's shipping label still on it, though the item IN the box was what we ordered. HOWEVER -- that item was BROKEN upon arrival!
7)Without a packing slip for the broken item, we had to call customer service immediately to inform them of it, and to find out how to return it. Initially they said that they would credit our account for the cost of the item, minus shipping costs, but we had to remind them that on their own website, they state that if the item is damaged, that they will also refund the shipping, too. Then the entire credit had to be recalculated, and instead of giving credit in one full amount, they said that they will do it in 2: one for the actual item amount, and one for the shipping! Then they said just to not bother with returning the item altogether and we can do with it what we please.
8)The other items which did ship, while they are in decent condition, are NOT really high-quality for what we paid for them. Even WorldMarket or Pier 1 has better-quality products for the same price!
We will NEVER purchase anything from TouchStone Catalog ever again! Buyer beware!
