I am one of the expats working here in Oman. I hope this website will help and reach some officials in the ministry specially in the Tourism.

To tell you frankly Oman is wonderful place. The environment and its culture was preserved that's why we have tourists from different parts of the world who were amazed of its beauty. Sad to say going back for the second time is less interesting.

Though there is a recession still one of the best things in every country are the shopping malls. Honestly, shopping malls here are boring. We are in the modern era now there are more expats, more tourists, and more Omani youths who were influenced by western countries. To boost tourisim here in Oman we want more shopping malls that will showcase international brands not Omani brands (which can be found every where), shopping malls with great attractions for the kids and youths, shopping malls with cinemas, shopping malls bigger than Muscat City Center, shopping malls with variety of choices of restaurants, and shopping malls not hypermarkets.

More shopping malls means more jobs for the Omanis and even expats. They said there is one being built in Al Ghubra I hope it's really a big one.
