heres another for Town Fair Tire...i went in and ordered 2 Cooper Zeon tires..the tires came in about three hours later and they did what i wanted mount balance and align...my salesman was busy with others so someone else helped me cash out...NOW here is the problem..the tires came to a total of $386.59...i paid $390.00 in cash and got $3.41 in change...now its been almost 3 1/2 weeks and i recieve a call from Town Fair saying...""we need to discuss your invoice our corporate office is saying there is an open account for your sale which means that we never got paid and they would like me to come in and pay""...now because someone either screwed up and never put it into the system or one of the employees has sticky fingers they are expecting me to go down and pay for my tires AGAIN...i told them i refuse to pay again and they asked if i had a receipt...the day after the work was done i called and told them i never got a ""PAID""invoice only a small cash register receipt..when they asked for proof of payment 3 weeks later i told them what i had and they said they never use those types of slips...they have called me 4-5 times a day for over a week now and im just waiting to speak to corporate and in the meantime i have contacted ATTORNEY GENERAL Richard Bluementhal's office to help me with this unresolved issue...WARNING STAY AWAY FROM TOWN FAIR TIRE .. they will rip you off...

My wife went to these jokers for a simple FREE Flat Tire Repair- We bought the tires from them NEW in Dec 07- Have been there 2 times since to fix a slow leaking tire that has been that way since Dec- She went again today (the 3rd time) and got sold into a alignment, rotate, balance, etc for $100- Called manger "ed" and he stated that no the alignment did not cause the slow leak, that the slow leak was now "just two nails and a cracked valve stem" that they couldn't manage to find UNTILL she ponied up $100 bucks- SCAMMERS- BEWARE AND DO NOT SEND YOUR WIFE THERE ALONE

Town Fair Tire web sites states, "We beat the internet." This is not true. Nor do they beat mail order pricing. Their advertising is a lie. I specifically requested, exact same product. Exact same service, (cash & carry.) What really flagged them as a "sell up" driven company, is their "free" front end alignment. This is clearly a come-on to sell not needed, high margin parts. Such as, ball joints, tie rods, shocks, and steering racks.

This company stinks from a distance.

Brought two vehicles in for new tires. On the first vehicle when we went to pick it up the person driving our vehicle came whipping thru the parking lot with no lights on and it was dark. They almost crashed into another vehicle. Then they couldn't figure out how to get the key out of the ignition. We sat there and watched this. Then came the second vehicle. They called to say the car was ready but they could not do the alignment due to a part freezing up so they would have to give me a credit. So I go in and ask if they applied the credit to my credit card account and the response I got was um the person who does credits won't be in until Monday give him a call then. Monday comes I call to get my credit and they tell me that anyone can give a credit. Then he tells me that I can get the part fixed within 30 days and bring my car back so they can do the alignment. I told him please just give me the credit because I will just have my mechanic do the alignment when they fix the part. He then told me that I have to bring the receipt from the other company stating this was done within the 30 days then they would give me the credit. I spoke with several people. It got to the point where when we tried to speak with them they just hung up on us. When someone went down to speak with them they were very rude, loud, and cussing at them. This is the poorest customer service I have encountered in my life. Something needs to be done.
