I found on November 13 that this hotel assigned a preauth on my credit card of $107.99. I called and told them(Gayle) that it was not authorized, I was not there and therefore they needed to put it back on my card before I filed a complaint. They refused to do so in the timely manner and proceeded to actually take cash from the person who was staying at the hotel.
As of this time, I have not heard from the company and my money has not been placed back on my card.
I will admit I was at this hotel up until July of 2010 and my bill was paid in full when I left. Somehow they still had my card active in their file and attached to Michael Burns.
I feel that this should never had happened considering that I had not been there for over 4 months and the gentleman, as I said told them that he had no card and would be paying cash, of which he did.
My bills can not be paid and I have had to cancel my card because of their blatant disregard to this issue. I would like to see this not happen to me or anyone else at this Corporation. Their practices are questionable.
