Fraud and scam
I was ripped off during service, I would suggest to get written estimate when you drop the car, don't believe them that discount or coupons will be applied during payment. They gave me quote over the phone so I took my car for service, but after service when i went to pick up the car, the charged me totally different price and even refused to apply coupons printed from Jay Wolfe Website. I was told they have new management and sure looks like they don't care.

No wonder people don't go to dealers for service any more.

purchase of a new vehicle
I purchased a Toyota Yaris car from Toyota car dealer in Lebanon. I asked them about the options and their related prices. I chosed to add on my car, provided they are factory installed, and this was confirmed by them, the options of power windows, central lock and radio for which I have paid some extra money.
To my big surpirse that these options found to be installed by the distributor and with a very bad and poor quality of material what represent a permanent threat of fire and safety to me and to my car.
I am so much concerned and worried about this issue and require an immediate solution to that from the manufacturer and compensation. Should otherdetails be needed I am ready to provide.

Bad quality of Toyota's product
Many people think that Toyota is a good car model. But, I had a bad experience. As a owner of new 2006 Toyota Highlander (hyb_LTD), I had 5 times of incidences of the front windshield dents or crakes caused by flying stones within 3 months. I had contacted Toyota customer service and did not get an appropriate response. Subsequently, I experienced 3 more similar incidences within the past 8 months, which all caused more severe damages on the front windshield. Some cracks extended automatically to more than 8 to 12 inches after single attack by a small flying stone. I, then, again contacted Toyota Customer Experience Center, requesting investigation and resolution. After repeatedly inquiring, the staff member created a case number and agreed to have an inspection. However, the field inspector never came, instead, without an inspection; he simply told me by phone that all damages on windshield were not product-quality related, so he would not come. I kept trying to contact Toyota Customer Experience Center, but there was no chance that I could directly speak with the assigned case manager over the phone for the past more than 4 months.
For my safety, I changed the front windshield without any Toyota’s help. Although I continue driving the same way as usual, and had several flying stone incidences, I have never had any dent or crake, suggesting the quality of these two pieces of windshield seems different. I am very dissatisfactory about the way that Toyota treats customers and the quality of its original windshield.

Be careful
Watch out for Toyota of Danville, IL. If they tell you something is wrong with your car, take your vehicle elsewhere. I was told I had a nail in my tire, but I decided to take my car to Sears because of all of the shady stories I've heard about Toyota & their claims of practically everyone having nails in a tire. It's a scam... Sears couldn't find this nail because it didn't exist. Next time I went to get my oil changed, they said nothing else about the nail because it just simply wasn't there. Every single person I've spoken to who has gone to Toyota for one reason or another has had a nail in his or her tire. Are there really that many nails around Danville streets, or is Toyota of Danville trying to screw its customers? Hmmm...I'm going with the latter. My stepmom went to Toyota for here check engine light coming on. According to the Toyota mechanics "a mouse had gotten under the hood & chewed the wires." It would then cost $3, 000 to fix the wires & they said the car was "not safe to drive." Feeling a bit suspicious, my stepmom took her vehicle to another mechanic. He found that a mouse had not chewed the wires, but they were installed incorrectly by the Toyota mechanics. Since the part needed to fix the problem was only $10, we're all a little baffled at how Toyota came up with it costing $3, 000. I warn you, Danville consumers, be careful with these scammers!!

Bad service
I am in the process of looking for another Tacoma pick up to replace my current one which is being bought back by Toyota for frames problems. I'm looking to purchase a 4x2 version for the gas savings. Toyota lists the traction controlstabilityy control option on both its web site and in the dealer brochure in the area. However I'm being told by the dealers that the stability control option is not available on trucks in this region of the country.

WHY? We have lots of snow and a traction control system would certainly help with winter driving. Why isn't it part of the standard package anyway? I know I can opt for a 4x4 but would prefer not to spend the extra money in gas or entail costs.

Poor quality product!
Toyota is really taking its customers in the middle east for a ride. It produces a single owner's manual for all its Models. So Toyota Prado of all shades and sizes will all be described in the similar manual and if the owner does not understand it he will have to keep guessing which features are available in the car or not available.

Toyota is selling its 6 Cylinder Prado in the middle east for $ 36000 without Any stability or traction control. Most of the dealers in the middle east are staffed by under trained staff or deliberately fudge on features or safety elements.

Even after setting one back by $36K, the car comes with only 2 airbags and poor brakes. All the features of the car available to customers in Europe and Australia are not available to customers in the middle east. All you see is dozens of closed buttons with no use (reserved for features which were not given to customer's in the middle east).

Any car from the competition is available at 75% of the price of Toyota is Curtain Airbags and Stability and Traction control Programs. Toyota is truly fleecing its customers with a VERY HIGH PRICE AND VERY POOR PRODUCTS AND SPECIFICATIONS.

Since the awareness about cars and independent test rides and critiques are few and far between, Toyota is profiting at the cost and life of the customers in the middle east.
