I have been driving Toyotas all my life, but with this attitude from Toyota, this is my last
I have purchased a new Toyota Fortuner in October 2008. I ordered the Furtuner with a tow bar and I asked the Toyota dealer if the problems with towing was sorted out. They assured me that the problem was sorted out. I purchased I Jurgens Penta caravan and then realized that the car was swerving quite a lot. A contacted Toyota and they said that the tires were faulty and that they will replace it with Generals again (this is what it was sold with) I had to pay for the km that I used on the tires. I was not allowed to but another brand on and pay the difference. I had no trust in the Generals and wanted to put BF Goodrich on. I asked Toyota why they did not inform me of the potential danger and why did they put my life and my families life’s in danger. Their answer was that as long as I don't complain, they do nothing about the problem. So you first have to get killed or injured before they do something. I have been driving Toyotas all my life, but with this attitude from Toyota, this is my last.

Service
Took my car in for regular service. I had driven up from Florida the car ran great. When I brought it in they said the water pump was leaking but don't worry it is covered under warranty. I left, parts came in, brought car back in to dealer. He said I would have to leave the car it would take time. When I picked up car went back to house found out the air conditioner was not working. They said return which I did immediately. They said I was lucky to have made it back because something was leaking on senor and car stalled out. But don't worry about that either because it would be covered under warranty( Car never stalled on me)
Left again for them to fix car now they call and state the whole air conditioner unit is bad and have to be replaced
The part alone $2, 200. (not covered under warranty)Svc man says he will call regional rep to see if we can get a Deal.. Get called back later the deal is half Price $1, 000 plus This all for a regular svc job and when car had no problems at all.
Will be shopping for new car soon but not a Toyota I believe customers are paying for all their mistakes, recalls and elaborate garages. (Do you really need coffee and full screen TV's, internet, couches, while having you car serviced

terrible dealer, doesn't care about customers
Red Mccombs Toyota, a terrible dealer, doesn't care about customers . I had purchased a 2010 Toyota Camry V6 in January 2010 to initially get to and from work. The car started getting dirty by a lot of dust has been covered inside the car. I brough my car to dealer too many time and received nothing fit but waiting and waiting.

Hi my name is Schalk Visser.I bought a toyota landcruiser pickup new in 2009.On 2000km the clutch was replaced by toyota, they claim it was a factory mistake. There after the gearbox leak oil, they repair it and say it was a mistake in the factory. Not long after that on 12000km the same problem. The vehicle now has 44000km on and the same problem plus difflock does not dissengage.I dont want my vehicle anymore, I need it replaced with a new one.I dont want to talk to toyota sa anymore and want response from TOYOTA JAPAN.

Terrible dealer, doesn't care about customers
I recently bought a 2010 Rav4 from Jay Wolfe. When the car came in, it did not have all the options I had been told it would have. When I asked them to reduce the price to compensate, they told me I got a good deal and should just be happy... which I was not.
I bought the car anyway... which I shouldn't have. They told me they would mail the paper work within a week... which they did not. I was told that if I needed it within a week, I could pick it up.
I had asked for a special gear shift knob to be included in the price. They agreed.. telling me that it was $185, The knob was not available when the car came in, so they said they would refund the price to me... at their cost.. $68. Wow what a mark up! They would send me a check. Never got the check. I called back and they said the check was lost and they would send another. I still do not have it
I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere!

poor service
i go to toyota service centre at sg buloh(selangor) to service my car and also make a complaint regarding my back tyre having a problem.Attach together with my seat belt not function(cannot roll back after release from the slot) and my plate number missing by two number and i ask them to replace it.After checking they said that the rod of the tyre (from left) bend inside so that my tyre(inside)can be bald a little bit for long term and cost approximately around rm3000 plus to change it(whole set of the back rod) because my car is not under warranty anymore.that i can accept it.The thing that make me unhappy of my seat belt.cost to change it around rm 91.++.But they dont change it because no stock and my plate number also not change for the same reason.i'm really angry at that time. After that i go to nearest workshop around sg buloh to settle my problem.firstly my seat belt, he open the seat belt cover to find up what the problem. He found something block at the seat belt roller and he remove it after that it back to normal. That mean toyota service centre did not open the seat belt cover and did not checking up very poor service. And the back tyre, he used the pump machine to pump up the rod which is attach to the tyre and place it to the original place. And the cost only rm50.00 for both problems.Know i dont believe toyota service centre especially at sg buloh centre.poor service?

No Refund of Deposit
I have made a booking of Toyota Vios and paid a sum of RM3, 000 as deposit at a Toyota dealer Wheelcorp Sdn Bhd (Old Klang Road) on 7th August 2010.
Due to unexpected financial problem recently, I am unable to buy the car and appeal to the dealer for a refund. The branch manager rejected my appeal and threaten to forfeit the deposit if I can’t pay the down payment to collect the car. She is very rude and said she has all the right to forfeit in the event of cancellation of order for any reason whatsoever.
I then contacted UMW Toyota Sdn Bhd (Malaysia Headquarter) 603-51236688 at Shah Alam to explain my situation. The customer service representative said that they cannot do anything about it and my deposit shall be forfeited. I understand according to the agreement there is a clause stating that the deposit paid by the customer be forfeited in the event of cancellation by customer. However, I just could not believe that Toyota Malaysia is so inconsiderate that they will forfeit customer’s deposit money even if the customer is facing financial difficulties.
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me on this matter.

gap insurance and interest
I bought a used car and feel ripped off. My car was totaled in an accident and my insurance will not help me. Nor did the other person make a statement so they could determine who was at fault they just blamed me cause I reported it. I purchased gap insurance and they wont help me. I had it towed and they sent the tow bill to collections. I feel they are ripping people off the car isn't worth what I paid and I've invested thousands of dollars in repairs and now have no car and owe a bill. If I could sue them I would. Someone drives the same kind of car and I'm being mistaken as well. Due to this I have bad credit and feel like I'll never have anything.
