I went to Toyota of McKinney this past Saturday, 03/06/2010 had the worst experience of my life.I went to buy a 2010 Toyota rav 4 new at 0 APR for 60 months.I singed the contract at $24, 480 dollars as the total cost of this car, but when everything was signed and done the finance person, tried to change the numbers while i wasn't paying attention.I asked him what he was doing he tells me that they forget to add sales tax, I told him that " you cant change anything on a singed contract" the person responded " I forget to add the $2, 000 dollars for tax". Prior to this when i was with the sales manager and sales person, I was told that the price of $24, 480 would include all taxes and fees.I believe that they were all in it together, This is the purest form of a dealership scam.I took the contract before they could change anything on it and left.The contract is with me and it states all the details including the original cost of the car that i singed on the contract.Today I contacted the dealership and they are refusing to honor a singed contract.

Oil Consumption, Ticking Noise from Engine
I had purchased a 2001 Toyota Celica gt in October 2005 to initially get to and from work, and in 2007 i noticed that the engine was consuming more oil then normal (1 quart oil = 500miles) after the oil was changed at 96, 000 miles, i also started noticing a ticking noise coming from the engine compartment that was only noticeable while driving and i dont know what caused it. I've taken it to Roseville Toyota in California to have it checked out and they kept blaming it on my exhaust, even when i took a technician for a drive to let him listen to the noise, but he still said it was my exhaust. I have taken my car to them multiple time to have them check it out and also had them do a valve adjustment to see if that was it. It's been 3 years now and 133, 000 miles later I'm still dealing with these issues, except now its ticking all the time. Please help, i'm getting tired of dealing with this issue and its starting to get too expensive, having to keep buying oil every 500 miles. I am a college student and i commute to and from school (68 miles round trip, five days a week), and these issues i've been experiencing is so frustrating, and the engine ticks soo much like its about to break down, and the anticipation of when it's gonna break down is getting to be very irritating. I had initially purchased the car knowing that Toyota was known for making reliable and durable cars like Honda, so i decided to give Toyota a try and see if it held up to its reputation, and plus it was an upgrade from my 89 honda civic that i use to have. I've experienced more mechanical problems with this car then my civic had and it was an 89. I thought Toyota was suppose to be reliable, durable, and dependable, i guess not. If i would have known these cars had soo many issues ahead of time, I would have just stayed with honda, at least i know Honda lasts longer then 200, 000 miles.

2007 4runner brake
i have 2007 Toyota 4runner.Last 3 weeks i drove on the snowing wet night.i drove very slow to the free way entrance.When i turn to the entrance very very slip on the road.i try to stop before i turn.But i, m too late and hit the freeway entrance wood sign corner road.Now i have to pay my insurance for collusion .Any one know it was my fault or my brake??????

Sold me a new wrecked car
I purchased a (So I thought) new Toyota from pat lobb in Mckinney.not only was the"NEW"CAR previously wrecked in transit or unloading they never told me.

Also the mirrors leak water everytime it rains or car is washed.Toyota sent me to toyota of Irving they had the car a week I paid for my own rental while they repaired their shoddy work.Needlesss to say 2 days after I picked it up it rains and mirrors leaked worse.Dealer says live with it.Now they have the gas pedal recall so I called to see if my camry/solara was included in the recall and they said they did not know to call back.I hope Toyota suffers the same fate as Chrysler and GM because of the way they treat customers after they purchase a car.My next car will be a Honda and Toyota can kiss my ***.

engine and tires
i bought my new land cruiser 2008 from bumc beirut, lebanon..they didnt tell me about the old engine they had in it which is the 4.7 liter and the tires on the car are terrible, they come with arabia standars that slip like a KIA..i paid 97000 usd for my car and believe it or not..i have no xenon, no heated seats, no power folding mirrors, no company radio, no screen, no rain sensors, no heated mirrors...all the goodies taht used to come with the land are no longer in it, the worst braking sysytem ever...i need to get my voice out and tell people in my country to watch out when they buy this car...

Trick and bate
I purchased a Toyota Coaster from Toyota Trinidad Limited last year. The vehicle was listed with all the features listed below:

and listed at $440, 000.00 TTD. I explicitly inquired to confirm the features. I paid amount quoted however the vehicle came with half the features. The sale rep Brendon Ache signed agreeing that the features are missing. The company to date has refused to install or refund me for the features. The director later stated if I want the feature that was suppose to be on the vehicle I need to pay an additional $92, 000.00 TTD.

After all this horror with what is suppose to be a reputable company I went to purchase parts from them as the vehicle was in a accident. The total cost of the parts was approx. $56, 000.00TTD, and I casually inquired if I will get a discount due to the size purchase and if was GIVEN. But I already had a manager's check for the full amount. I was told to pay with the check and I will receive a refund for the difference. It has been 5 month and still have not received the refund. The director "Andre Baptist" sent me an email stating if I drop any and all legal action against Toyota Trinidad he is issue the refund for an approx amount of $17, 000.00TTD.

Toyota Trinidad and Andre Baptist has gone from using Trick and Bait tactics to Ransom Tactics.

I'm shock that a reputable company like Toyota can allow a pig headed man set such a reputation for them in one of their locations. How can the heads of a company stand by and allow a director rob customers and tarnish their company's reputation.

I have copies of all documents to support my claim and emails from the director "Andre Baptist"

I hope Toyota this issue can be resolved and not allow one man acting as a director to tarnish their company's name.

bad services
I want to state my grievances which I experienced at your work shop in Sunny Toyota kanpur road..
While driving from my home town Allahabad to Lucknow in my way on Tuesday 3rd of nov-2009 at 10.30;am
I called up at your work shop regarding my vehicle’s pre appointment Qualis No- UP-70-AB-7387, in order to avoid inconvenience vice-a-versa ; a female receptionist passed my call to another concerned dept where my appointment was been observed.
Around 11.40 am I reached your work shop where I met Mr, Abhisheak, and here it took me almost 2 hrs 20 minutes to get my vehicle registered for service which is supposed to be due at 79 km. imagine 2 and a half hour I had to wait to get my paper done I wonder what factor took your staff take such a huge time ? And at the other side your work shop promises your customers for getting service done in 6o minutes ( express). and here it took me 2 & half hr to register my Qualis.

Here I gave my typed slip to this gentleman mentioning 16 points of work to be done in my vehicle; at 6.30 pm on the same day, when I sent my driver to collect the vehicle, where he learned that leave alone 7 out of 16 points, none was been done to my surprise, and instead of fixing my seat’s problem your work Dept staff ended up breaking my front left seat’s spring lock which was supposed to be fixed since it was working loose and had to be repaired or change, and they got my illiterate driver sign the release paper with the bills …. Mentioning that the owner refused to flag the additional work due to his own time problem …… imagine !!! and all my journey of 5 hrs from Lucknow to Allahabd, with the distress and uncomfortable posture I maintained out of that seat along with other co passengers you can imagine very well

For your information just due to all these irregularities and UN professionalism I stopped sending my vehicle to Rajendra Toyota varanasi which is half the kilometer than your Sunny work shop… I wonder why I exhaust extra 120 km to send my vehicle to Lucknow (Sunny Toyota )

At last now I guess I must find another place where my vehicle could be taken care of followed by right kind of service…. As a customer I am highly disappointed.. here! Or I must instigate people to opt for owing another company’s vehicle rather than ….TOYOTAS’….. Due to poor service and- UN professionalism .which I practically experienced simultaneously right from 2 places 1st from Rajendra Toyota Varanasi and now from Sunny Toyota Lucknow … alas! you cant expect me to leave my work and keep sending my vehicle all the way 200 km from Allahabad to Lucknow, and its neither possible for me to afford with such a vehicle and the deplorable services given by you.

Customer Service
Purchase a Camry at this dealership. Called me three weeks after making the purchase and asked for more money, indicating I had not bought the car yet?!. Called Toyota Customer experience, no help. This dealership ended up getting more money out of me and doing the terms of the contract over. Very poor customer service at the dealership and and in dealing with the Toyota Customer service folks. Ended up missing a vacation I had planned for months due to the deal not being complete. I could not get plates with the timing of the situation. Never offered to compensate me for my missed vacation. Very sad...

warranty
is anyone else trying to get through to the decision makers at Toyota or TMIS(Insurance Services)? I have reached our regional manager and he was of no assistance. I am told over and over that I need to call the Customer Experience number--and what be told that I can not speak to a manager, failed by dealerships too. Just looking for someone to listen to the customer and not the just the dealerships.
