Having a 2003 dodge 1 ton Ram pickup the torque converter bolts came loose from the flex plate. The torque converter also locked up causing the vehicle to vibrate. TPA risk management declined to pay for the repairs due to:
1. They said they did not cover bolts. These are the 8 bolts which hold the torque converter to the flex plate or flywheel.
2. They said the truck had a 5th wheel hitch in the bed of the truck. This is a 1 ton cummins diesel. Last time I checked this type of vehicle was made to handle a 5th wheel trailer.
3. They said ti had "oversize tires on the vehicle which are 1 size larger than the stock
This organization is ripoff and only looks for stupid excuses which they won't pay. I called and talked to two people, neither of which cared about the problem or were willing to listen to common sence.
