TPF Not Qualified To Authenticate
The purse forum is not capable of correctly authenticating designer items. TPF is full of crap. I wanted to be sure that I could trust the opinion of the TPF'ers so I posted pictures of an authentic LV bag that I walked into a LV store and purchased myself and asked TPF to authenticate it, and they told me it was fake "and a bad fake at that" was the exact phrase. I never understood what qualified these people to authenticate designer items in the first place, I just don't get it. They are actually allowed to go around reporting random items as fakes, when they can't tell the difference between a real LV and a fake. I was appalled at their assumptions. I'm sure they're gonna jump all over e and say a bunch of nasty things to me, but this is my story, I have no reason to lie on tpf because I thought they were doing something good until my ordeal. How many sellers lose money because of the purse forums faulty authenticity system? Does the purse forum think twice about the people they hurt? What liability do these websites and TPF take when removing authentic items and ruining the reputation of innocent sellers? I think that a professional system should be put in place to authenticate these items and say what items get pulled, because the TPF system is not legit, and is exceptionally flawed. that's too much power for an unauthorized discombobulated body of people to posses.
