Unusable Product
I purchased an unlocked Dual Sim card Cellphone from Tradetang on December 1st, 2010. When I received product, neither AT&T nor T Mobile Sim Cards fit into sim card holders AND there was no maunals for product available. I cannot use the phone and my endless e-mails are met with "try another sim card", or try to contact seller, which I have and they keep sending me e-mails that are just delaying the inevitable that they indeed, do not have an instruction manual, and the sim cards that may fit are not either of the two US possibilities that are CDMA compliant. A RIP OFF-DO NOT BUY FROM Tradetang.com

Bait and Switch
TradeTang.com offer cheap products sent directly from China. I experienced a situation where TradeTang sent a completely different item than the one I ordered. After more than 20 email exchanges with TradeTangs customer service department, they eventually refused to accept return of the product. Paying with Paypal is another mistake since Paypal only guarantees delivery.

Scam
I bought a copy of thier iphone 4 but on delivery i recieved a iphone 3gs. not only that i had a dent on the screen an could not access the internet on the phone. before i bought the phone seller confirmed with me that the phone would work just like the original but would only have 8gb on the phone.
after that i contacted the seller to discuss my disaapointment and point out the damages which i had on delivery, which he replied "thats what you payed for. you cant expect to have such good quality for the price i payed for the phone" rude or what you tell me.
this is a warning to everyone. do not buy from them. there are a cheat, liar, and scam organisation.

Bad copy of fake guitar.
Hi: June- July 2009
Here is a heinous tale of guitar woe.
I thought I'd try a Parkwood PWH4.
Thought I'd found one one the Tradetang website.
Pictured is the PWH4...$340USD + Freeshipping...from the seller "guitar_house".
http://www.tradetang.com/buy/parkwood/22-20-bestT0-1-0-0.html
I contacted/chatted withthe seller guitar_house and I said " sounds too good to be true.
He said: 'Maybe I should charge $500.'
Tradetang said " Escrow Process " and "Customer Satisfaction".
The seller sent me a bad copy of a fake Gibson that sort of looked like the PWH4 from a distance.
IT is not tune-able because the fake stop bridge/tail-piece is pulling out, among other things.
So not only was it the wrong guitar - it was not playable.
I would have been 'content' and "lesson learned" if it had only been playable... or could be made so.
Then - after numerous e-mails and photos and even a couple of phone calls to frikken' Shanghai !!
Tradetang's escrow process turns out to be mostly BS.
I did get $100 back after way too much effort and a solid case for FRAUD.
They kept $240. Not exactly 'Escrow'.
Paypal also crapped out on me. I asked them to remove Tradetang from their site, not because 'guitar_house' sent a bad fake- but because Tradetang's escrow process was BS.
Paypal sent me corporate boiler plate about getting a guitar instead of a brick. Fat chance!
So, Robert; do guitar lovers a favour and get this Tradetang off your site, It will set guitar back to the stringed gourd stage.
