I have ordered a product from Transfarm. I have been quoted an amount of R11-80 excl. I confirmed this amount 5 times, especially after they informed me they were waiting for new stock. I asked them to confirm with (BSN, manufacturer) that the price of new stock would be the same. Transfarm returnded my call to confirm the same price still valid.
However, prior to delivery they informed me the price is now R118-80. I insisted though to get the goods for the quoted price, especially after i made the effort to check so many times to ensure the price, as i ordered 10 units.
i then received a call to inform me that the directors agreed to deliver at the original quoted price. Two days later, i received only 1 unit.
I phoned Transfarm immediately and was told that would be the best they can do for me.
I even made a written complaint about this poor practice, as i believe i should have received the goods at the quoted price. especially after being quoted the same amount 5 times!
The lady even admitted that their systems were wrong due to a problem BSN experienced.
I would now like your help, as i cannot believe that a company should get away with such bad customer service. Especially in view of the new consumer act on its way.
