I bought a high performance ford AOD transmission back in Feb 02 2008 from ramparts out of Tampa Florida. It came with a 1 year unlimited mile warranties. The first day I got the transmission it had the wrong shifting linkage. I installed the transmission I worked only for about a mile and I lost overdrive. I brought it down to my transmission shop I use and they told me that the input shaft was broke. and the transmission is a stock OEM. I called ramparts and talk to Scott yaslow and he told me they would send me a new input shaft and rebuild kit. I waited for about a month and got tried of waiting and bought a new one installed it and it work for about another 6 months and lost overdrive again. I called ramparts and talk to carmen yaslow and she told me to send my old one back and they would send me a new one. They had yellow road way pick it up and it was sitting at the station waiting for ramparts to send yellow road way the bill of lading. It sat in Beaumont for 2 weeks. I called ramparts to have the send them the information and Car men told me they did and she gave me a false tracking number I contacted yellow road way and they told me it was still sitting there. Finally after 2 weeks ramparts sent it after calling everyday, every hour to have them do it. After it was ship and made it to ramparts they told yellow road way they didn't have the paper work and they would not take it. I called them again and Scott Ya slow told me they would not exchange it because he bought the company a day after I bought the transmission and he doesn't honor someone else's transmission which is a lie because I talked to Scott Yaslow before i bought my transmission. So now the transmission is sitting back at yellow road way and tranzparts will not ship it back to me. I did a search on the web and found out im not the only one they are ripping of there is 20 to 30 other people claiming the same thing.
