TTaxi said they would be happy to pick up trash for the summer months only @ our lake house. Also, they agreed to walk down the BIG hill to get the trash for my elderly parents. The 1st summer (2009) we had a few problems from the collectors refusing to walk down the hill to our trash not being picked up as scheduled. After calling Chrystal several times & finally contacting Trash Taxi's CEO (Curtis), those issues got resolved.
Because of the CEO's response in 09, we decided to try them the next summer (2010). HOWEVER, the next summer for MANY MANY weeks our trash was NOT picked up. We called OVER and OVER... we left SO many msgs we lost track.
So this summer, after NOT getting calls returned I contacted the CEO (Curtis) again...this time I received NO reply and continued to NOT be able to get the local Trash Taxi (Acworth) to return our calls.
FINALLY my husband got the company's "boss" (Dave S.) on the phone who assured him our trash would be picked up the next day (a Saturday) even if he had to do it himself. It did get picked up but we believe that was ONLY because we told him we were having a party with many of our neighbors on the lake. We prayed all would be corrected from that point on... WRONG!!!
THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMEL'S BACK & what has prompted me to write this: I received a phone call from Trash Taxi in Feb. (2011) telling me our acct needed to be paid... WHAT?!?!? Not only had we contracted for ONLY June, July and Aug and had prepaid those months now they are saying we owe money for Sept - Feb????? This is NUTS!!! Obviously the girl who called was new and I asked her that. She said yes and Chrystal is not working there anymore... so I told her our story, she said she'd pass it on to the "boss" and would send me my acct record after I requested it.
I NEVER received that...but then just yesterday I got a bill in the mail from them for back pymts!!! WHAT?!?!?! This is just RIDICULOUS!!!
