I recieved an email to join AARP as I had a few time because I let my membership lapse a few months. The email offered a travel kit if I joined now. I responded by going to their website to join. After completeing the registration information and clicking submit the website said there was a problem with my registration and I should call a certain number. When I did the number was for AARP. I told the woman who answered my problem and she said I can complete your application now. She did indeed complete my application but my travel kit has never arrived. Unfortunately I was not suspicious enough to save the email or web address so I have no way of knowing if the eamil was truly from AARP or a hoax to get my information but after several months I have had no problems so I assume the the email was from AARP and I would like my travel bag. If there is another way to get it please let me know as I have given up all hope and am thoroughly disgusted with the AARP organization.
thank you,
